I don't have an issue with ingrid/ingmar Bergman or Greta Garbo. I get the theme, its fine-if a bit unusual.
The thing that throws me is putting the incarnation of death from The Seventh Seal. Especially the imagery of the bizarre extensional dancing among the villagers.
Look, all I am saying is: How the hell does that make the cut? Not the obvious, awesome imagery of putting Max Von Sydow as Ming the Mercliess. Now that would be rad.
My favorite is still the stop sign that Valiquette had.
Pretty sure that was the back plate of the SpiderMan mask, and yes, it was pure awesome, to bad Vally didn't live up to his own graphics...nice guy though.
The mask should have had an eagle having a piece of the constitution in his claws, sitting on top of a pole which holds the american flag, while enjoying a bottle of Coca-Cola and staring in to the eyes of John Wayne who is sipping Jack Daniels and eating a cheeseburger on one side. And then on the other side it should've had all the past Rangers legends, their numbers and statistics.
Or then, you know, something that is really close to his heart, like, his own culture and things he loves and grew up with or something.
.... LOL dude you totally missed the mark with this one...
I like the concept more than the actual design, but it's hard to talk bad about a mask with a legendary director and two babes on it. No surprise that Henrik has great taste in movies and women.

/s. i thought it was obvious. People complaining it's not New York-y enough.. Masks are personal, whatever is in there is usually pretty close to the netminders heart. Not saying Henrik doesn't love NY, of course he does. But hes still a Swede.
I didn't know it was Henrik's job to wear a mask that all the fans would like. So what if it doesn't have "Rangers" emblazoned all over it?
He could have went with someone else from the sliver screen, like Jason Voorhees, or Freddy Krueger, or that red haired kid with the green eyes from A Christmas Story.

Henrik is Swedish. In what world would any of those guys be on one of his masks?
