Crunch Defense looks absolutely brutally bad tonight. Tikker getting no help honestly and this game would be 3/4-0 without him.

Pretty ****ing awful to watch the Crunch play this badly.

Even with him it's 3-0 now. Oh well, big club tomorrow!

Panik not being on the top line with Palat and Johnson for the next 2 games is going to hurt. Connolly has a couple games to see if he can play with those two guys.

Killorn is worth the price of admission guys. His footspeed has improved noticeably and he is only going to get stronger(that's frightening because he's already a beast on the puck).

Nightingale with his 1st. But realty down 3-1 to the Americans, a team they have had next to no success against, I do not think it will help much.

When you guys get a chance, could you give me some info on :

Tanner Richard
Richard Panink
Slater Koekkoek

Working on finishing my keeper league's rosters and was wondering what their chances of making the NHL between now and 2014-15 are

At firstI haven't seen any of them play despite some games of Panik this year on Streams.

Paink first:
When he is on his game he is brutal great and nearly unstopable but he has consistency issues. As example he had just a few points up to November (3 or 4 if I remeber right) and then he had a 12 game scoring streak with 18 points or so.... He is good enough to make the big club next year, but expect one more year in the minors as Alex Killorn (take him if he is still available!!!!! ) and Brett Connolly will get the chance first, maybe Johnson as well.

Tanner Richard:
IS a great playmaker but struggles to find the back of the net (3g 39a in 32 games), eh will play in the A next year, but he won't have any chance before the 14/15 season maybe even one year longer as others might get the chance first in 14/15 (Namestnikov, Palat,...)
It's not sure they all will ever get a chance, but they are all right on track.

Slater Koekkoek:
Has some plus/minus issues, but the rest of the season will tell if it was because of Peterborough or because of defensive problems in his game. Offensive he is the a great player (especially for an TWD, he isn't apoor OD as Reilly, but his numbers are great). But don't expect him in the NHL before 14/15 as Steve Yzerman will give him time to develop.

All in all I think you could take saver players out of this organisation instead of Richard and Koekkoek. To list a few: Killorn, Barberio, maybe Gudas and Kucherov could do everything rom getting a chance this summer to need another 2 years

Tanner Richard 1+2, +3. 4th goal of the year, kid is a die hard playmaker.

Paquette had 2 assists. 17+38 in 42 games. +21.

Well Windsor isn't much better team than Petes, though they are not as big of a mess.

Well its Peterborough

What is really important is, Windsor made several trades at the deadline, so I expect they will be better now and that should help Koekkoek

Koekkoek has been shutdown by Tampa for the season. Guess it was worse than we thought, will have surgery, 4-6 months recovery time.

Saw the Battalion play today.

I've been really disappointed with Dylan Blujus' progression this year.

I think he's tightened things up a bit defensively this year, and his backwards/lateral mobility looks slightly improved. But offensively, he's actually regressed I think. Brendan Miller has sort of taken over the role of primary puck mover for Brampton. Blujus seems hesitant to jump up in the rush, or lead the attack. I expected him to become more aggressive in these areas this season, not less.

Just my two cents.

Why, because he got injured?

Hes still a solid pick. Connolly was injured too, doesn't mean hes a bad pick. Have faith.

I've heard that from a few people and it makes me curious if its by design. Some guys are just meant to focus on one thing at a time, and maybe hes one of them...

Paquette added 3 assists in a 3-4 loss to Halifax.

It's certainly possible. I could see the Lightning (or even the Battalion), asking him to tighten things up defensively. And as a result of focusing more in his own end, he's taking less chances and sacrificing offensive production. That said, I wouldn't agree with doing that.

Exactly. I'm not worried too much about him, especially since they brought him to town to make him see the trainers with the big club and go to the team approved orthopedist, same thing they did with Kucherov.
