I hate how Delpo played in the 5th. Damn, Murray will cruise to the semi-finals now.

It won't matter really. Delpo wasn't going to push Murray here anyway. I don't know why you'd be so keen to have him as tired as possible if he makes the final.

On the women's side in Grand Slams, I really, really miss Kuznetsova. Svetlana didn't always play great tennis, though she was capable of it, but high drama followed her around like a shadow.

Where are Milos and Kohli? There are four miscellaneous women on the court simultaneously jiggling between points.

Finally, they are on the court. Should be interesting. Raonic may find Kohlschreiber's game a bit gnarly, I suspect. Still, if he is truly upward bound, Milos needs to win these sorts of match ups....Kohli, hitting almost exclusively to Raonic's feast or famine forehand, takes the first game on serve.

I think Kohli will win this. I'll also be rooting for him.

Where are you watching this? TSN has Robson-Stephens and I'm coming up empty on streams.

Edit: Nm. TSN has it now.

Well, here's the inevitable tie breaker....which Raonic takes...I'm switching to Monfils/Simon because this match is putting me to sleep. Let's face it, Milos is about as exciting to watch as a ****ing tree stump. The novelty of watching him play is quickly wearing off for me.

Federer breaks Tomic to open the match.

Kohli started that terribly. Sigh. Nothing bothers me more than not getting second serves back in play, even when it's Raonic serving. Kohli can't control the backhand return on either of Raonic's service points from *5-4. First set Milos.

Milos takes the first in a breaker. Shock of shocks, eh?

I have an online feed with no commentary. Love it!

Raonic breaks for 2-0 in the second. Looks like Kohli will need a big comeback.

Kohlschreiber just burned 2 of his challenges in the second game of the set.

Waiting for Monfils/Simon to start, I notice Federer is having a fairly easy time of it against Tomic, who is putting up some resistance but to no great avail.

Ah, here Monfils. My god, the evolution of the tennis bag. In my day, they would hold about four rackets, tops. With Monfils's bag it looks like you could hide a small family of Afghani refugees and tote them around from country to country and no one would ever be the wiser.

I like Simon in this.

Great serving performance from Federer that set. Not much else to say. Tomic overpowered Fed on occasion, but not nearly consistently enough (like Berdych or Del Potro) to bother him.

Milos takes the second 6-3. Please win the next one quickly as in no breaker so I can sleep.

As expected, a really interesting battle between skilled, evenly matched counter punchers, 2-1 on serve. This match could take a while....3-3 all with Monfils more aggressive service game being the most significant difference in the cat and mouse (with alternating roles) tennis so far...Monfils gets just the tiniest bit impatient on a couple of points and Simon wins the game 4-3, still on serve...double faults creeping into Monfils' game once again....Simon takes the set on his fourth set point, 6-4...very good set, a lot of unforced errors but that's a deceptive statistic in matches like this where 20+ stroke points are featured prominently.

Second set: Monfils impatience shows and Gilles is up a break, 2-0, and that's it for me, too.

Such a joy to watch Federer find novel and ever more exasperating ways to waste break points. It's one of the most pleasant facets of his play these days.

Tightly contested second set. Tomic came up big when Federer threatened his serve while Federer mostly cruised on serve. Tomic got up an early minibreak 2-0, came up with some big first serves and bullied Federer around the court as best he could. Things turned with Tomic serving at *5-3: a long neutral rally with both players slugging the ball and ultimately Tomic sent a down the line forehand wide. Federer held both points on his own serve and broke Tomic for the tiebreak 7-5. Tomic was wasteful at his challenges, losing all three of his regular challenges early in the set and wasting his additional challenge on a Federer swinging volley 10 cm in. I was amused when he looked to his box for confirmation of a call twice later in the tiebreak - as if he could do anything about the linesmen's calls.

Hope Federer beats him 6-0 in the third set.

Australian commentators are on their knees whenever Tomic is playing, ****ing pathetic. Plus Tomic is a litte *****

My thoughts exactly. I heard Lleyton Hewitt is commentating. Is that true?

Breadstick, not a bagel... sometimes you can't be picky when you go to the boulangerie. About what I hoped for.

My opinion of Tomic as a player changed this month. The key for him now is not to flunk the rest of the year like he did in 2012.
