I find the audio much better on the CBC feed, but the video is a little bit better on the RDS feed.
I haven't seen either since the Bell Centre upgraded their lights, so I can't say which looks better since the upgrade.

100% agree I think its because on the RDS feed they lower the crowd noise.

One thing I always admired about the Laff faithful is there sense of humor. One guy in there GDT said he wouldn't trade JVR alone for our whole top 9. Lol leafs fans I tell ya there something else other than losers

You have to remember, in a way it's like it's October 6th or so meaning the summer wasn't long ago where the leafs are always the best at everything until about a month or so into the new season.
Actually I want to see the leafs do better then last year, don't want them getting a good draft pick in june now that they have a good gm.

So happy to sit down infront of the tv with friends (and beer) and watching Leafs/Habs. Let the hatred begin! Good luck tonight.

Yup, and they tone down the rink noise as well (boards, pucks hitting glass, hits).
I know video is important, but I find the audio makes the experience that much better.
I wish RDS would up the volume on their rink mics.

So anyone kinda wonder...
Last summer we were super duper happy that Galchenyuk might be the true #1 center this team has lacked for years...
And now he's gonna start the season on the wing, as a goalscorer?
I just hope he keeps developing, but would like him to remain a center down the line.

The long term plan is to play him at centre. The short term plan is to ease him in by playing on the wing.

the Habs brass have been repeating that he will be a center. Just no room right now at center, but i would not be surprised that he will play there more and more during the season.

Galchenyuk is getting a 5 game taste of NHL life. His long term position at centre is in the hands of Eller. If Eller demonstrates new strength and that he can be a good 2nd line centre, Plekanec can be converted in a trade to upgrade the wing and open up a centre spot.
All eyes should be on Eller this year, he's a key piece to improving the club.
