I suspect that 'value of' thread that Krishna started was a veiled troll, too. I'm not sure what the story is with the Flyers board. Even on the Leafs board there are some people that know a bit about us, but on Philly's board it is compete tunnel vision for the east coast.
I think we'll see some 'wah, wah, Matt Read, wah, wah' if Cam has a hot start and their defense looks as miserable as it does on paper.

Having the best blue line in the league, a Conn Smythe-winning goaltender, the best shutdown line in the league, and a lethal one-two combo with Andy Mac-Selanne and Getzlaf-Perry might have contributed to that. Just saying...

Yea, I basically stopped posting/reading the boards for a while when we were getting all those ridiculous proposals around Read for Ryan. I came back only to see that not a ton has changed and they still seem completely ignorant about us.
Am I the only one who feels like Fowler is in line for a monster season? I wouldn't be surprised if he scored 30+ points in 48 games
I'm expecting huge strides from Cam as well. I also believe you are about to witness utter ruthlessness from Getzlaf. Trying to shore up his contract I fully expect him to be in playoff/olympic mode for the shortened season.

Well Rakell is a better 4th line center than Holland, so this is actually a good bottom six line. And the Ducks will need a good PK facing Vancouver. Now we have two legitimate PK centers (depends on Rakell's faceoffs).
Why not just send Holland down until they decide what they'll do with Rakell? It's better than sitting in the press box, but I guess this decision was made recently. Maybe it's so if Bonino struggles on the 2nd line?

I'm contemplating getting NHL gamecenter, but the blackout rules are somewhat confusing. Will ducks games be blacked out since I'm in the area, or are just games on national networks blacked out?

Agreed think we had more noise when Selanne held the cup. Glad I bought the 07 DVD. Kings banner was super lame. Seeing Selanne cry after the game was a lifelong memory. I love our ducks! Thank you Ducks organization.
