Those haven't been on Quick. The defense is just farting.

I knew dean should have floated brown's name in trade rumors before tonight.

Hopefully this will be the only cup hangover game.

2nd period should be better, but too big of a hole already.

Go Kings Go!

I realize with Quickie being the Conn Smythe winner and all it would have been in poor PR form to start Bernier. But it might have been an idea since he's probably more in midseason form than Quick is who hadn't even been seeing live play before a week ago.

Dunno if he's hurting but he hasn't played in a game for a long time.

Yeah, two snipes and a fluke goal, the defense just needs to play better. They are flatfooted and taking bad angles

Gagne misses open net and then a post. At least they got first good chances.

Wasn't Game 1 of the playoffs like this too? I seem to recall Vancouver getting up big in the first and the Kings coming back. I may be confusing it with the 2010 series though.

Not to mention their passing isn't up to par. That will come with more game time though.

Don't forget it is an afternoon game too. Kings always suck on Saturday afternoon games.

Also, they always seem to struggle with the Hawks at home.

I'm just going to give up questioning who plays on the PP. This is now five seasons of him on the #1 PP. No creativity at all, and like always he is going to be left wide open on the PP because no one fears his point shot, so the puck is going to inevitably funnel his way, and we wonder why our PP is disappointing year after year.

Hopefully when Kopitar comes back, Richards will slide back to the point and he stops seeing PP time. But I'm not optimistic, he always finds a way back into the PP rotation.

And now he turns the puck over in our zone.
