You could grab it out of the air briefly and drop it immediately. I think now they're saying you have to bat it down.

That's fine by me. I love a good goon show.

Oh ok. Thanks for the clarification.
I'm still waiting for the hybrid icing rule. I liked it when the AHL was experimenting with it.

I may follow the Jets as a fun second team this season. I'd like to see them do well.

That Malkin-Crosby-Neal line is just taking it to them. If Sid can stay healthy, that line is gonna be absolutely filthy. Heck, it was awesome last year when Malkin played with Neal when Sid was on the shelf.

Fun fact, no Penguin other then Crosby and Malkin have managed 50 goals (both only once) since Crosby started playing in the NHL.
Malkin did it only when Crosby was on the shelf for 3/4 of the season.

NHL Network got a much better one as well.
Much better than that awkwardly shaped dark cave they had before

Clean check. Kept his elbow in. Kane (that's him right?) really is a lightweight.

If Crosby went into a season saying I'm getting ten goals and 140 a's I'm telling you atleast one of his linemates would get 50, when Crosby came back last year they stuck him with Cooke and he got like ten goals.

My fantasy hockey team is off to a great start. Kane, Michalek with goals; Malkin with an assist.

Ugh, no interest in watching another Crosby infomercial between periods...
Good game so far. Refs are calling it tight though. Reminds me of the last time we came out of the lockout with the tight no-tolerance calling.

Kings Blackhawks underway in second. Toews starts off the assault this period. 4 - 0
