Same team as last year? Last year we didnt have a 5 time all-star in his prime. also we replaced all the guys we lost pretty well. Marc staal is healthy too

True. Stralman is a more than capable D-man for the second pairing. Also, Kreider replaces Dubinsky, Nash replaces Anisimov. The difference between Fedotenko and Pyatt is minimal and Halpern is an improvement over Mitchell
Not sure I agree. Pyatt cancels out Fedotenko, Asham replaces Prust, and Kreider replaces Dubinsky.
As far as their potential to replace, they can. At this point however, they still need to settle in. Even if one of the 3 fails to adjust or play Torts' hockey, it's a downgraded. Prust did what he did very well and so did Feds. Not to continue the whole Kreider deal but he still needs to get in the game.
To an extent I agree. But at least last year the teams could complete a pass and enter the zone without everyone staring at their skates.
Not surprising with the short camp, just observing.

I've always been a fan of Pyatt and even though i like Prust i think he will be replaced nicely. also halpern helps with faceoffs which was a weakness last year
