Really? Jets fans yell out "true north" during the Canadian national anthem?

I want the Jets to lose now.

Quick and Bryzgalov are both getting blown out.

Pens vs Philly has been a great game to watch so far. Fast, physical, skilled and already 2 goals.

What a shot by Frolik on that goal. Thought this game would be more competitive.

Chicago would be a solid pick to come out of the West this year.

Goaltending is still a problem and will get exposed as the season progresses.

Crawford has the ability to catch fire, we know that better than anyone.

He also has the ability to look like crap...even though he hasn't been tested much, he doesn't look very strong to me...I've seen him go down early a few times already.

I've said that a lot and gotten **** for it...they got hot at the right time and never faced any real adversity (lucky)...and they had a pretty easy path to the cup IMO. They are better than an 8th seed, but I don't see them as an elite team.

I don't know about that. Great defence, great goaltending and strong down the middle. That's a top 3 team in the West imo.

LA, St.Louis and Van are elite teams, everyone else has at least one big flaw.

Some career AHLer d-man is starting on the top pairing of the Leafs tonight - Mike Kostka. Reminds me of the bad old Nonis days of minor league players being handed roster spots - Jeff Cowan, Lee Goren, Brad Isbister, Byron Ritchie, Steve McCarthy, jesus...

Crosby certainly not at his best in this game. A lot of turnovers and just overall kind of behind play. Getting ouplayed by Giroux and Malkin big time.

I just can't hate Patrick Kane. I really really can't.

But I can sure as **** hate Dustin Brown. The Kings piss me off more than Boston does with all the lauding they get for putting terrible hockey on the ice for 6.5 months and then letting their goalie win them a cup.

Crosby looking baaaaaad.

Kostka was terrific for Norfolk last year in the AHL playoffs... not surprised they're giving him a shot. But on the top pair right away? Hmmm...

I think LA's overall talent level is questionable, especially on defense.

Likewise. Doughty making 7mil a year is laughable.

Their cap structure is terrible, and had they lost one or two more games last year they wouldn't have made the post season and would have been considered the biggest off season bust in modern humanity. I only like that Willie Mitchell won his cup and I like Anze Kopitar. The rest can go **** themselves. If they bomb hard this season and lose the division title to PHOENIX again I will enjoy every second of it.
