Let Girardi mess him up. Just check him like he did with Green last season in the play-offs.

So glad the Kings are knocked down a few pegs as well as Mr. Vezina Quick (granted I did start a thread that he should win the Vezina out of frustration after an awful game by Hank).

Both goalies look good in Flyers/Pens game. Flyers offense looks surprisingly mediocre. They seem to lack that "overwhelm" quality that they had last year.

Still, its the first game.

Why are these ads pumping up NYR-BOS as some kind of rivalry?

Why's it matter? They're advertising NY too.

Agreed. We haven't played them in the playoffs in decades.

Simmonds also seems to be pulling a "Dubinsky" in this game. He is over thinking every time he gets the puck.

He should stop trying setting up plays and drive to the net.

Players like Simmonds and Dubinsky just aren't that great for that exact reason. Everyone has a love affair with the energy but then you start to realize they are only effective about half the time because they can't seem to figure things out.

Can't even log on to NHL Gamecenter. What a joke.

As far as the elite goaltenders' expectation, the second in running Jonathon Quick has dropped hi.s
