So the Canucks better play tight defensive hockey. They'll get smoked if they try to run and gun against the Ducks with this sad ass lineup.

Have you seen the Ducks 2nd line center? Their defense?

Exactly. Bonino vs Ebbett. It's freaking ugly for both teams. At least we have the better defense...

I've seen their 2nd line wingers, and they're a hell of a lot better than ours.

Yeah, by far...I just hope we show up.
Plus, they have Selanne on their 2nd line...I'd take that over Raymond.

ducks could have a pylon as their 2nd line centre, and selanne would still find a way to score on us

So in summary, we have the far better goalie and defense, they have a better second line...
Think I will take our situation.

I'm actually not excited for this game at all. I think AV will be back to coaching a boring defensive system like we saw pre-Gillis era, and we're probably going to end up getting crushed because of it. Funny how going with an AHL journeyman over our top center prospect for the 2nd line job will change this.

Why are people saying "Yeah, but what about THEIR second line?"?? They have Bobby Ryan and Teemu Selanne on it, and still have Getzlaf and Perry on the 1st.

Really? I would have never guessed, especially with your game prediction.
Thanks for letting us know.

Had to make some minor edits to the GDT. Rickard Rakell is in over Peter Holland, according to the Ducks board.

I don't expect a low-scoring game, the ANA games always seem to be 4-3 games.

I expect Bonino to get at least one, he always seems to play well against the Canucks. Underrated player actually, he could have a nice season if he stays with Ryan all year.

Slightly off topic, but either Montreal or Toronto will be eliminated from the playoff race tonight.
