Is anybody watching GameCenter successfully through their PS3?

This is the message I keep getting:

The New NHL Game Center App for your PlayStation 3 is Coming soon.
The 2011-20012 version you are using will not support live games for the 2013 season. We apologize for the inconvienience.

If it helps, the old app was awful especially when you tried to watch live.

I liked the PS3 app interface, but the stuttering on live games was horrific! Was hoping they'd fix it for this year.

Just watched the Philly game on the Roku and it was great.

FYI, UnoDNS is working if you can't get unblockus to work. Just waiting for the pregame to end.

Confirmed. Gamecenter is currently saying "THE GAME WILL BEGIN SOON" (waiting for the pregame to finish)

DNS server is 208.122.23.22

If Unblock wasn't working, It wouldn't let me get this far.

If you are not too worried about watching on devices (like Xbox/PS3/Apple TV), then you don't need to buy unoDNS, there are ways around it.

Just install a free VPN (i.e. SecurityKissTunnel), connect to German server, start stream, disconnect from VPN and enjoy leafs game.

As others said, GCL is plain useless without a VPN, sadly.

Not really. There is real value in out of market games, and for about $100 for the season (the price of unblockus included) you can watch Leafs games. Not to mention the PVR capabilities, and multi-platform (in theory anyway - this Feb 1st PS3 app release bullcrap is shocking, frankly), so it's quite convenient when it works.

I see the value in it, but they REALLY fell short on day 1 - and to think that they had so much more prep time.

Just to reiterate this advice, SecurityKissTunnel works great to get round the blackout crap.

Actually makes GCL a viable purchase now (after my initial despair this morning).

Yea I'm going to wait and see what the new PS3 app is like. If it's garbage like the old one, I'm going to have to look into investing in Apple TV or a Roku.
