Foster is not important enough to make a big diff for Flyers one way or another. He's too low on the totem pole.
..That's what Devils fans though, but he nearly cost us (or did cost us) games regularly as the sixth defenseman. You'll eventually see what I'm talking about.

My thoughts on Foster are when is Gus going to be healthy?

Look up the box score. Look at PP TOI. Find answer to question.

He played some, they didn't really set him up for anything.

I loved Foster.. Big shot at the point, especially on the PP, and great character.. Lacking in all other skills though

Guy had the slowest decision making in his own end... though it looked like a lot of the team did in the first period.

Hi. Thanks for the help buddy. I havent found a boxscore with PP TOI. And I am on a phone, not a a PC. Perhaps you could point one out? I used to use te NHL.com one but they seem to have rid themselves of that stat. Again, thanks for the help. You seem like a likeable person... Sigh

Didn't think Foster looked good last night. Gervais next in line if Foster can't hack it?

If you go to the Flyers' schedule on their site and click recap, and then once it loads you can switch over to the box score. Alternately it is still on nhl.com via the schedule or if it is the same day or the day before you can just click recap for that game on that little scroll bar with the games for the day and then click box score. Here is the nhl.com link for today's Buffalo game http://www.nhl.com/ice/schedulebyday...=nav-sch-today

Didn't Foster have the assist on Couturier's goal today? I think it was a shot from the point on the power play?

I'll be the first to admit that I don't always know exactly what to look for with defensemen but I really don't see what is so horrible about Foster or Gervais. They both seem to be superior to some of the other 6th through 8th guys we used to have.

Eh i dont think Foster has beenthat good. Get beat alot and gets hammered even with his size. On the other hand i agree with gervias. He is surpisingly doing. Im 100% fine with him being the number 6. Hes not great in anything but being average in everything is all you need in a 6th

I've seen nothing more than 'meh' play from Foster with some bad play mixed in.

I'll take "meh" over " get that guy the heck off the ice" which is pretty much every other 6 to 8 in the league. We can't expect to carry 6 number 1's can we? Foster does get beat along the boards and Gervais seems to pinch too much but I'm happier with those guys then most of the other garbage we've had the past few years. Gus will prob still take one of their spot soon anyway. I guess for me I had sort of spotted these 2 as behind MAB and Gus and Lilja and now I'd only play Gus ahead of them.

I just wish they would set his shot up a little more. He's taken one legit slapper and it resulted in a goal. I mean that's the guys main asset. Let him use it.
