Grabo set a benchmark. I don't see him getting anything below $5.5M per.

15m / 3 years. No need to extend him longer then that.

These aren't good seasons?

I hope we can sign him to something reasonable...he is a key piece to this team. I love this guy on the ice, leader and hard worker!

I'd like to see how he does in this shortened season before throwing big money and term at him (and yes, I know he's been productive in the past).

I hope they are just seeing where his camp's head's at #'s wise first.

He's a good player, but odds are he's not going to maintain his all-star performance from last season.
I agree...

Among the Leafs who are set to become UFA's Lupul is the only one I want back 100% and needs to be re-signed as soon as possible.

QFT. This would be a perfect contract. Or 4 years $20 mil might be optimal. But if he wants 5/25, I wouldn't be opposed to it.

Grabo is more important to the team and is younger and healthier. He's our best Center, we aren't talking about Kessel here we are talking about Lupul. He's probably our 3rd best player. $5 mill per season is no way lowballing him and to be honest he had one really good season last year but what did he do before that? What have you done for me lately?

This. Some ridiculous ideas so far. Wouldn't go more than 2 years.

you have a point, he would be underpaid at that, as he is a ppg player with the heart of a champion! 6 yrs 36mil! and then Kessel 8 years at $60 mill!
