We've mostly missed Liles as a PP quarterback. Hopefully Barrie is able to contribute to our PP. He has looked great on the PP in AHL.

Was watching Florida and Huberdeau is absolutely beasting down there. His ability to steal the puck within skates on the boards is creating havoc on the forecheck.....oh and Corvo sucks monkey butts.

Also watched the first with Tampa and Hedman is looking like a complete force out there. He is playing the angle and gap extremely well, but the best part of him is his reach with the stick.

I disagree with that. I think it is his transition game we miss most. We can't get the puck out of our own zone when the other team pressures us. Liles was never a good PP quarterback IMO. In fact, he was bad. Quite frustrating to watch.

Bozak and Kadri with goals! Expect to see threads offering them for Crosby and Malkin.

In 66 games, fighting through injuries and its with the leafs. He's been good for around 40 for the majority of his career.

I know you hate him though, so it's kind of tough for you to be impartial. Liles always has been mediocre at best defensively.
Please, SOB is barely an NHL defender. Liles much much better than him, anyone who thinks the avs wouldn't be better off with him, is lying.

It is close but there's a better chance of O'Brien doing something dumb. Either jumping up in the play when he's not supposed to, going one on three, or taking a dumb penalty. Liles was able to recover because of his skating ability but he did get physically abused by forwards down low. Neither guy should be playing against the oppositions top two lines.

I was never a fan of Liles but I don't mind O'Brien when he's playing his game.

Thought we were taking about strictly defensively? Of course Liles is better overall.
