Totally outclassed so far. EMBARRASSING. I'm seriously embarrassed by this so called best team in the NHL looking like a bottom feeder.

Yeah with less than a minute to go in the period why not? Needs to ice that.

Why wouldn't he go? Period was basically over. Go put some ice on it early.

Team isn't quite in rhythm, but they played better in the 2nd than the 1st.

That period was worse than the first one, honestly. They looked much better after they scored the goal, though.
Really disappointed with Kreider, Hags and Gabby. Stralman hasn't been good either.
Boyle, Pyatt and Cally are noticeable. Awesome move by Nash that helped lead to the first goal. Hope to see more of that...he's been bad at distributing the puck- let him get the puck and take it to the net.

For sure. I think it was Marchand, as someone else mentioned. He's done that crap before and whoever did it was pretty small.

Lot's of overreaction here. Were you expecting a 4-1 blowout game?

Hagelin has been horrific. Turnovers, penalties galore.

Agreed, Gabs and Hags have been dreadful tonight. Then again no one has been outstanding.
Nash has looked good.
Del Z looks good.
Hank is Hank.
Thats about all I got.

kreider hasnt done much but hes playin with 2 grinders. expect him to step into hags minutes in the 3rd
defensively we really have been pretty good but for a few idiotic giveways in the neutral zone and BAD LINE CHANGES

Pyatt has looked good.
Hope Staal can shake it off. He looked bad on the bench.

Probably Marchand. Can't stand him or Lucic, but at least Lucic stands up for himself when he does dirty ****. Marchand is a ****ing rat.

Much better period, that goal really turned our game around.
Have been most impressed with Nash and Pyatt tonight. And obviously Hank, if he let any of those go in to make it 3-0, we woulda been ****ed.

Marchand's trademark move is pretty dirty. He likes to call it a hip check, but it is not.

We are notorious for slow starts so I'm not worried. We will come out and win the 3rd and hopefully win/force overtime. We are def rusty but the Bruins look good right now. Tukka hasnt been tested though at all. If not for Hank we are down 4-1 imo.

Yes I know its the first game and the Bruns are a good team but i dont like the overall feel of this team right now. This is not a 82 game season we need to come out of the gate with some wins

I think it's there, it's just taking time to sort out the chemistry after the long layoff, and obviously a big addition.
Remember how poorly we started last year.
Only thing that scares me is the shortened schedule won't allow us quite as much slack in that regard.

Where has Stepan been? I haven't noticed him in ages.
