Anyone else's standard definition Centre Ice channels almost unwatchable? I can barely make out numbers... How come CI doesn't have these games in HD?

That was always my peeve with CI. They used to Broadcast Leaf games in really bad SD feeds when the HD feeds were available.

It's why I went to GCL. HD feeds and your choice of home or away.

Same here. And GCL is finally working for those that were having trouble earlier. I really like the sleek new look of everything this year.

Also, I run a highlights channel so I went ahead and put up some stuff from tonight. I'll post 'em here.

Schneider and Salo are two of the Canucks (one now former) that I really like so i don't like to see him get chased but i have to admit the drama around Lou has made this thing a gong show and in some ways they had this coming to them tonight.

At least the day wasn't a complete disaster, despite the Jets and Kings embarrassments at least the Red Wings and Canucks got their **** handed to them as well.

and the hurricanes sure didn't look like a team that was the odds on favorite to win the SE this season. Obviously only one game, but lots of teams needing to regroup.

I hear ya, and it's taken a bit of the edge off that pitiful game. It's going to take a couple of weeks for everything to normalize, until that point I say we should just enjoy the ride.
