I kind of wish that the league would just go about business as usual instead of groveling to the fans. It's apparent right away that the Preds broadcasts will feature a lot of sucking up to fans, and that's just not going to cut it for me and frankly will get annoying VERY fast. The only way for the NHL to really prove they mean business is to avoid a work stoppage when this CBA expires. Everything else is just going to come across as gimmicky.

Nhl.com website overloaded today, but love the new stats! Giveaways, takeaways, blocked shots, face off percentage all added!
Great game so far! Keep it going guys!

Yes. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
I like (most of) what I see so far. But we all know as the season wears on, the young guys usually have their struggles. I'm hoping that with the shortened season, we won't see so much of that.
I like how the D pairs seem to work together.
The forwards, as usual, are pretty much a jumble. Not that there's no chemistry.

Does anybody else have their game seemingly randomly interrupted by commercial breaks in the middle of play?

Frustrating to see can't even safely get it out of our own zone.

We're letting them control the puck a bit too much in the D zone.

If the purpose at the moment is to let Rinne face all kinds of shots from various angles we're doing a great job.
