Bouillon just missed the net by about half a mile.

Me too. Then I realize that #17 is playing good, so I remember it's not Campoli.

Anyone booing this team after 2 periods into the 1st game after a 1 week “training camp” is pathetic.
Embarrassing

If the Habs play like this all year I think it'll actually do some damage to the brand. We might be passionate here in Montreal, but we're not exactly known as the most patient fans in the world... they need to show us good things quickly. Basically, with the team they have, they need to be major overachievers.

Therrien loves him. I was fine with him coming back in a limited role (#7 type guy), but not as a #1.

Boullion has now passed Markov and has the most TOI on this team.

Amazing.

It is great news. I can't imagine being that bad and yet because there would not have been a season, we would have less chances to win the 1st pick than tons of teams in this league. Now...we will have the chances we deserve...

This is not NHL level hockey not even AHL level. The habs are just more mediocre. This is what you get with 9 months off, the guys that didn't play in Europe don't know what to do and have forgotten how to play hockey. Wished the NHL could have stuck 3 or 4 pre-season games before this.

Losing 2-0 in the 3rd period. Normally the bench would be cut and he wouldn't even play. There's 4 games left to evaluate him, I think management already took their decision before this game.

Hyperbole is overstatement or exaggerated language that distorts facts by making them much bigger than they are if looked at objectively. The media use it a lot to make stories seem more important or interesting than they really are (an apparently unfair boxing decision was described as the 'crime of the century' by one newspaper which seems excessive when compared to murder). It may be used to entertain or more seriously.

He has done it from waaayyy above the circles alot though. He just did it in the 2nd.

You're aware of who is coaching the Habs now, right?

Bourque and Kaberle are actually 2 of our better players. Plekanec and all of DD's line has looked awful.

First, there's absolutely NOTHING to be thrilled about. We could lose 6-4 for all I care but at least, would be great to have 2 good plays in a row which we don't have. Then, people are just seeing the rest of what last year's was all about. And then, it's again, a terrible Leafs team. Do the math.

Not impressed at all so far. It is going to take a lot to convince me Therien was the right choice to coach this team.

I actually hadn't found Gally that bad. Not good by any means but far from our worst player. Gionta, Cole, Boullion, Armstrong, Desharnais... ugh
