One player who has looked "okay" is Ian White. At least a little stability in the defense, feels like we don't have a lot of it.
People are putting the Oshie goal on CC but that one was more White's fault IMO. CC was watching the puck, White was looking right at Oshie and watched him go right by. In that situation it's White's responsibility to make sure Oshie is covered.

Babcock wanted bigger and faster players and got Sammy and Tootoo. Maybe if we combined them you could make a big fast player.

Glad I'm not the only one to notice. They have no one playing the boards. 3 forwards standing in the middle of the ice, watching the two D skate back and forth fighting to win the puck (and looking silly in the process)

We might even have 2 of them, somewhere out there, but where could we find them?

Has the Datsyuk-Z-Brunner line even registered a shot at even strength yet? They all seem to just skate and pass and lose the puck before anyone can shoot.

So how many witty "Wings have the Blues" headlines will we see after the game? Witty journalists.

If they're going to be bad, I'd prefer that they commit to it, Indianapolis Colts style.

Scratching to get the 8th seed so they can get obliterated by the Nucks or Hawks or Kings is not a worthwhile ambition.

Embarrassing. I know St. Louis is a really good team. But this has been a GUTLESS performance thus far. Just horrible. Not just yet ready to write off the season till Helm is back. Awful.

I was flabbergasted when Holland traded a 1st round pick for Quincy. Unbelievable! A junior high kid would not have made that trade in a fantasy league, not to mention the NHL!

If this doesn't tell the Kindl fans he'll never be an NHL defenseman I don't know what will. He can't even get PT with this group of d-men.

Smith, Jones, and Ouellette is something I could deal with.

You sure that's Kindl's fault? Judging by this team the management can't judge talent whatsoever.

That's far too optimistic, the Wings will find their groove and just be sort of bad but finish middle of the pack so get a pick around #14 ish.
