Jagr on a 192 point pace, not bad.

So yeah, that is why i love jagr!!! Should be a fun year, hope he stays healthy! I guess chemistry has already been established, that could be a good 2nd line maybe?

Is Jagr going to lead the league in points after day 1?!?!?!?

Lehtonen quietly putting up solid numbers, stopping 37-40; .925%

People have always said I'm crazy for this, but he's a top 5 goalie in the league. His talent is through the roof, and it's starting to become undeniable.

I thought he was pretty shaky tonight. But he'll round into form.

Arguably top 5. Definitely top 10.

Lundqvist
Rinne
Quick

Price
Ward
Miller
Lehtonen
Luongo

The second group isn't in order.

This game was a must win on a back-to-back when you play Minnesota on the second night. Going 0-2 was not an option and Minny will be a tough task. Going 1-1 on the first 2 nights of the season is pretty good. But winning both would be better.

Go Stars!!

For me, the only goalies I would take over Kari, are Lundqvist, Rinne, Quick, and maybe Price.

I hope Gulutzan realizes just how much work this team needs... Doubt he makes the changes we actually need though...

Breaking up Goligoski/Robidas would do a hell of a lot. Not playing Eakin/Smith on the PK would also be welcome.
