Completely disagree, and Kaberle was pedestrian/invisible enough as it was.

Both teams were pretty bad and just that one team had to win.

If Montreal wins this game 2-1, would it really make you guys feel better about this team? This team has a tonne of holes in the lineup and lacks talent, speed and strength. Bergevin has a lot of work to do.

Leafs are just better than us. We are not a good team this year. Price will save us some nights along with Cole and Patches, but it will otherwise be a rough going. Adding a top pick this year along with some game experience for Gally is the best we can hope for.

It's not about this one game, I've been saying it for a while now. Still fun that hockey is back!

He got 3 years I think.

Which means he's pretty much in lame duck territory within the next 18 months.

So Toronto have had a english gm and coach and have not been in finals since 67.Should Toronto not hire a minority such as gay or black?

To put it into perspective, both teams played poorly. I highly doubt the rest of the season will look like this.

Funny, I have no problem with them hiring Marc Bergevin. He comes with a lot of credibility although he is lacking some experience. But I am willing to give a fresh face a chance. However, Bergevin hired his buddy and hiring buddies doesn't get you very far in sports.

On a positive note, we can't finish lower than 15th. On a negative note, that's where we are headed.

Therrien was the best coach available at the time when he hired him.

He was damn near the only guy who could pass the puck tape to tape and everytime he got the puck the whole team calmed down. You are out to lunch.

Let's stay on topic and forget about the French requirement for a sec.

He's on shaky ground as soon as the calendar hits 2014 is what I am saying. Very rarely do teams leave their coaches hanging with only 1 year left on their deal - if it happens they become a ''lame duck.''

Well actually it might be a positive news if we finish 15th. We will have better odds of drafting a future star.

Yeah without the language requirement he was the best. Name me a better coach that was available then?
