Please tell me someone else saw that sweet tic-tac-toe passing play by the Ducks. I yelled in awe.

Here's one for the teary-eyed sentimental type:

Brian Lee was -2 in a 6-3 win.

Yep, brought that up in the last thread.

Right now, I wouldn't take Lee over any of the 7 healthy defencemen we have on our roster, let alone our top 9 once Cowen & Lundin are healthy. People who want him back in any way/shape/form are crazy, IMO.

This is amazing, I know it's only the first game, but the goaltending situation in Vancouver is hilarious.

The high scorers for tonight are old geezers in Jagr and Selanne each with 4 pts.

Man, the Wings defense looked lost without Lidstrom

I'd be pissed if I was Howard

And 4 PP goals, wtf?

Don't think th Wings will make the playoffs this year. They haven't missed since 1989-90 but I feel Lidstrom's retirement will have too much impact on the team. Lidstrom is one of the best to ever play the game.

Huberdeau looked sick tonight. He's my favourite prospect, I hope he absolutely rips it up in Florida.

Me and my buddies watched all 3 games on CBC start to finish, and I also watched quite a bit of the Pittsburgh vs Philly game, St Louis vs Detroit, and Minnesota vs Colorado.

What a day.

Hey, I was one of those buddies!

Not the best feeling in the world watching Schneider get lit up after picking him up early in my hockey pool.

I had no idea Dougie Hamilton made the B's. If he sticks, Ceci should be able to lead the OHL D in points, assuming they use him correctly in OS.

How sick were Tarasenko's goals tonight??

This kid is going to be UNREAL!!!! So glad he isn't in our conference. I've always liked the Blues, it's sick to see them developing and drafting such unreal talent. I expect Halak to take the full time #1 job this year too lol

Just remember that Murray never would have drafted him and you'll be fine. I'm pretty happy with Turris.
