Yeah, you don't move those 2 for Henrik Lundqvist at this point. Especially knowing Scrivens is he better goaltender this season.

I didn't get why Schneider was anointed the clear cut #1 in the first place. He doesn't have enough games under his belt. He might become that, but if tonight is any indication, he isn't there yet. We'd be better off keeping both and re-evaluating in the summer.

Luongo is our best goalie, why would a team competing for a cup trade it's best goalie?

If Schneider plays bad because Luongo is still on the team, wouldn't that make Schneider mentally weak?

Kadri and Bozak looked great tonight, think the price is going up if Gillis was indeed asking for both for Luongo.

The ginger potato eater certainly made his case for the number one job tonight. Impressive debut in his start as the top man.

because this isn't an overreaction right?

it's one game, relax.

I'm disappointed with his performance on the last 2 goals he let in as well but these things happen.

I always thought it was banned for the injury potential not the racist implications.

I've posted this in here before, but does no one else think the Luongo situation is a bit of a distraction? Gillis has called the Leafs/Florida/Chicago bluffs and I guess will see where the cards fall

It's probably not a distraction in the locker room. It's great for the lazy media who need to fill column space and air time by re-hashing the same "distraction" stuff every day.

While we're on the subject, I remember Schneider saying last year that he didn't like the term Ginger.

Personally, if I was a "day walker" I'd rather be called a ginger than a red head.

Honestly... which sounds cooler?

It's only a distraction if Schneider sucks big time for a few games in a row. That sure as hell better not happen. Canucks better get their heads on straight and help out cory because those oilers are going to be flying tomorrow night.
