Easily Redden. He's not a bad player, was just massively overpaid. He was one of the few Sens I had respect for/was jealous that they had. I know his playing level has dropped a few years since then, but you can't dispute his heart.
I *know* Barker sucks. So he's worse. Redden may be totally washed out and unable to contribute too. Or not. It's hard to say. His demise in New York wasn't exactly dramatic or long-lived and it's hard to judge his AHL play, given few of us ever really saw much of it. So I'd take Redden now.
One guy used to be a competent NHLer. One guy never was. Pretty easy choice.

Redden was getting Norris votes as recently as 2008. That's five years. Go back a couple more and he's top five.
He was top-pairing on NYR four seasons ago; Torts was hired in the offseason and didn't seem to like Redden. Moved him to the third pair. After that season he was never ALLOWED to come to Rangers training camp; showing you exactly how much his demotion to the AHL was based on play. None; if his play pushed him down to begin with, he'd have been allowed to try an earn a spot on the team at training camp.
