That was one of the best games I've seen this team play in a long time. (Yeah, I know, it's the only game I've seen them play in a long time.) Sure there were mistakes made and a few things (PK in particular) need some work but those boys really looked like a team out there. Although there were some rough spots I would still say they played a 60 minute game which the haven't done in forever.

A healthy Lydman looked terrific, Palmieri looked strong and aggressive, Souray looked good, the whole third line was spectacular, and the whole concept of rolling four solid lines looks like a real winner.

I told you guys this was a playoff team.

Oh, and it sure can't hurt the Perry/Getz negotiations to have a winning team while the talks go on. If we make some good offers and they start sniffing another we just might have them right where we want them.

Seems like league wide defense was troublesome, will probably take longer for teams to gel defensively, which could mean alot of goals for a few weeks. wouldn't overreact to anyone with a slow start either most of this guys haven't played highly competitive hockey this year, regardless it'd be nice to steal 2 in a row on the road

I also didn't like the coverage of the point men. Vancouver was allowed to tee off way too many times, directly led to all three goals. The wingers either need to get out higher faster or not be sucked in as hard when the play goes behind the net.

Any one having problem with GAMECENTER live? I've been trying to watch this game since it ended on demand, but it doesn't work basicly at all. It stops at ducks first PP.

****ing gamecenter, what did I pay for!

PS.

TEAM OOOOOOOO!! 2+2

And 7-3 win over the cancuks, I didin't see us beating their ass this big!

Hey guys Canucks fan here,

Ducks always give us a great fight at home, and would call you guys more of a rival than most teams within the North West, though that doesn't say much haha.

Hope the Ducks can continue with this, cheered against the Sens in the finals and would always take the Ducks second after the Canucks.

Wasn't the best game to watch for me but atleast it was the Ducks! Now go do that to quick and the kings!

Still don't understand why Holland wasn't there. Otherwise a good win. Just have to say, the Blues look like a sick machine, hope the Ducks can be as good .

I like the Lydman-Beauchamin pairing so far. They're very reliable, and I trust them against the other teams best forwards (I have no fear putting them against Kopitar, Thornton, Sedins, Toews, etc.).

Also, that 3rd line could be great. They seem to have nice chemistry together already. All play a very strong defensive game, and Koivu can dish them the puck, so they should be able to put up a good amount of points.

1st line looks good. Perry was the worst one on the line today imo, but that's probably just rust. Getzlaf played phenomenal. He was physical, he shot when he had the oppurtunity, he back-checked hard, he setup his teammates. He looked like a captain out there. Palmieri was also excellent i thought. He's got great hands, is fast, and has a really nice wrist shot.

Teemu is Teemu. Nothing more needs to be said about him

Rakell had a great NHL debut. The skill is there. Now he just needs to develop physically, and I think he'll be a really good NHLer

Without Ryan and Perry too, usually the latter does a lot of damage

Do you guys see Sbisa possessing first pairing potential?

Like I said I liked what I saw from Palmieri offensively

I imagine Allen will be happy to have Fowler back, Hendry made a suicide pass to him and he got clocked. can't wait to see Fowler and Souray together on the PP!!

Palmieri is a boss, i'm sticking with the Mini Perry comparison, that could be a great line once they gel

Sbisa's weird, almost like a frantic schizophrenic. Hs first two periods were awful, but seemed to pick it up towards the end. Has the tools to be one, it's on him to put it together.

I've always seen Sbisa as more of a second pairing guy. Nothing wrong with that. Just don't see him becoming a top pairing workhorse. He's still young though, so I hope he proves me wrong!

I'm not to worried im watching the game now and Sbisa and Souray just need time to play together, there were some obvious miscommunications/not knowing partner moments. it will take a few weeks for our new pairings to gel, but i am liking Beauch and Lydman! amazing what a difference a healthy Lydman can make, last year he clearly wasn't himself

You guys got some links to the Canucks fans posts which you were talking about? I tried to look up some of the arrogant posts some mentioned here but could not find too many.

Anyways, nice win! Loved to see Selanne getting at it from the beginning. Did Ryan look ok in the second?

He has a top pairing tools but lacks the toolbox and consistency to get there IMO. Right now he's a good #4-5 guy and I think in his prime he could be a good #3 guy.

Here's one from Parabola

The sedin line alone could get 5 goals against Anaheim. Don't really feel like that team is anything special.
They cleaned up alot of the other stuff before the game. Lot's of posts were deleted.

All right. I guess it is not even too important to see all the stuff that was said. But after a victory like this it tastes so sweet to see people having their own words for breakfast.

I really can't see how someone who call's himself hockey-fan can't see the talent Duck's have. Not the best team in the league but far from worst. Far far from worst.

I would just love if Teemu goes on and beats both Sedin's in scoring race for the season.

Vancouver feed doesn't work..Anaheim's does... just choose that.

What a game!

Teemu: "I didn't feel good out there" and goes 2+2 and monster in faceoffs.

We have a 3rd line, yay!

Souray was nice + Allen not bad either...but getting good old Lydman back is important.

Those green men ain't funny at all...facepalm worthy more.

Even though Vancouver sucked...this team looks promising!

Bonino: Still things to learn
Perry: Little bit rusty
Rakell: ok debut

I hate being a 1 line team

Was impressed by the team today, Getz, Teemu, 3rd line were best on ice for me.

Thought Rakell was pretty good, same with Palmieri on the top line. Wouldn't say any of the defence 'stood out', thought they were all just solid and did the job required.

Still a bit meh about DSP, I'd rather have Holland at 4c and put Rakell on the wing at this point, with DSP back in the AHL.

Also Teemu puts up 4 ponits, and didn't feel very good, hello future 10 point game coming up

Lovin Rakell he just totally plays a pro style game, wonder where this leaves Holland, he deserves to play...Beleskey I think is gonna stick this year, he always plays hard, in a bottom 6 role he's a valuable player
