Sabres carry 3-2 lead into the 3rd, but the Flyers tie it with under 5 mins left after a period full of the Ruff Prevent. Buffalo gets a PP in OT and Pommer wins it.

Woodhouse GDT. Awesome.

I have no idea how this season is going to go, but I can't wait for it to start.

I find the presence of this GDT to be agreeable. Stoked.

Was off with the flu yesterday but feel good enough to go in to work today...would it be unethical to milk it one more day?

10:10am: WGR 550 just announced NO RJ today on radio.

Apparently he is sick. Paul Hamilton will do play by play.

Hopefully not a bad omen.

Here's a little piece of Sabres/Flyers history to get us in the mood.

Get well soon RJ!

Let's Go Buffalo!

Thanks for the GDT Woodhouse!

Also delighted Center Ice is only $50. Will be watching a lot of Sabres games on the West coast this year!

Still some tickets left through the Sabres site, pretty damn expensive.. $146 for section 209.

Its a great deal, as long as it works. I watched quite a few different games with it yesterday, but it crashed for a ton of people between 7:30 and 8:30. Twitter was quite blowed-up about the whole thing. It sucks that you can only watch "out of market games." So in cleveland I won't get columbus or pittsburg (pitt plays buf x3 or I wouldn't care). In most of western ny you can't see buf on gamecenter. Also, all national games on nbc, nbcsports, nhl, cbc, and another canadian network count as in-market. That's something like 12 games for the sabres, and is only slightly relieved by the fact that nbc puts their games up online for free. For the other 8 or 9 national non-nbc games I'll be streaming or going to the bar.

If you can deal with all that, 50$ for 35-40 games online is a pretty great deal.

Same kinds of issues for me with Gamecenter Live. I suspect they'll iron it out.

CBC games aren't in-market for me on Gamecenter. I watched two last night. It's really lame that NHL Network games are blacked out, though.

Rooting for Grigorenko and the Sabres today! Can't wait to see Grigs.

I really hope you guys win so you start Enroth tomorrow and not Miller.
