Ya... No sense in drafting a gamebreaker with elite skill.

His point is that even if wed kept the pick wed likely have not picked tarasenko. So are you more happy with what we got from the pick (turris) or would you be happier if wed have picked some other kid from that draft? Personally I think tarasenko may develop to be better than turris but ATM turris has the edge

Ott with such a beautiful goal. I'm waiting for Philly to turn it on, though I'm sure they're pretty tired from last night.

If Miller didn't weigh 12 pounds he wouldn't have been pushed so easily.

Did Pierre just say Florida lit up the Washington Capitals last night?

I was almost thinking that he was the one pushing the Flyer player, therefore putting himself out of position. Should have been a goal in my opinion. I'd be raging if I were a big Philly fan right now.

I blackout when I hear him talk... I think it stems from his days with TSN.

Hartnell landed some bombs, and Stafford hung right in there. This makes me really excited to see Neiler fight.

Am I the only who thinks 5.25M$ a year for Lupul is way too much?

Here's a list of the players with comparable cap hit:

http://www.capgeek.com/comparables/?...012&player=213

I don't think I'd take Lupul over any player on this list other than..... Grabovski.

You have to think him and Parros will go at some point! I mean, back-to-back vs FLA, it has to happen, ha

I think it's worth it if he continues to put up the same numbers he did last year, which I think is unlikely. He did have 67 points in 66 games or something. I would have waited until the end of the season to sign him, but the Leafs like to lock players up early so that we don't hear speculation about them being traded all season.

If he produces like he has since he went to the Leafs, it's not horrible. The thing is you don't know if last year was a flash in the pan, or if he'll produce like that consistently. It's also risky cause of past injury problems. One positive of the deal is that he's had good chemistry with Kessel, and it's an incentive for Kessel to re-sign when he's a UFA 2 summers from now.

Good game in Buffalo so far.

Tyler Myers snap from the point makes it 3-2 with just under 5 mins to go.
