Luongo is not worth one or both of these guys.

Don't get too excited about one good game for the Leafs and one bad game for the Canucks. There are 47 games to go.

But I would be content to shelve all talk of a Luongo trade for now and let things ride.

Pretty much this. I won't lie though, I did have quite the smirk on my face when Schnieder was pulled.

Luongo has taken this whole thing in stride. He's been very up front about it all and has even made cracks at the whole situation. It's the best way for him to handle it. So good on him. Good guy.

Yeah, I gotta give it to Luongo for being a sport about the whole thing. If Schneider craps the bed this season, Vancouver will need Luongo more than they know.

I'd still definitely trade for Luongo. Goaltending consistency is so key to success. Luongo has it, and it's hard to get.

He wouldn't be nearly as good here. We have to develop as a team before we start parachuting guys in. Ask the Argos they used to do it all the time. Then they wised up.

Now it's our turn.

I'd wait another year and see who else is available. Leafs do not need to take on that contract at this time.

He's a good player that I won't deny and can be one of the best of his game. However I don't like him for several reasons, one for character and for what i know of him.

Nothing wrong with a little fun.

I'd be content to shelve it permanently. Let's see how Reimer and Scrivens do and then decide how to proceed especially as there might be some goalies available via free agency this summer or, perhaps via trades that cost fewer assets than Luongo will.

"It's an absolute mess" Jones on NBC discussing Luongo. Have to trade him soon, said the Lou chants last night are a recipe for disaster. Oh that Vancouver leverage with their allstar goalie!

Lou is going to screw that organization huge. He is already passively aggressive manipulating the media with twitter etc. I find it hilarious on account of their fans being unreasonable

A very amusing and ironic start to Vancouver's season, even if it was just one night.

Luongo starts TN. This whole thing just blew up in Gillis' face. Love every second of it.

Looks like Luongo is starting for the Canucks tonight, as he was scheduled to. For leverages sake, I hope he gets blown out. The more this sage drags on the more I dislike Gillis and his extremely arrogant ways. Go Oilers!

Note: I want Luongo on the Leafs, as long as it does not cost us Kadri, Gardiner, Reilly or a first round pick.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Luongo gets blown out and Schneider has to pick up the slack?

What do the Canucks do if BobbyLu gets the shutout? Very excited for the game

What else they can do?! Trade him anyways. He is 35 years old for **** sakes. They've lost Kesler and Hodgson last season, Booth is out = no secondary scoring at all. That's for they needed Kadri and Bozak. Luongo is their only chance to stay afloat. Sedins are 32 now... they desperately need fresh blood.

Wishing the best for Luongo. Hope if works out for him in Vancouver or anywhere else besides Toronto. His contract will ultimately screw-up those teams though. That's why you do not want him in Toronto.
