Huge game for us. It would be the best of worls if we stand on 4 points, flyers and Rangers 0 after 2 games

Flyers start out 0-2. It would be huge if we could get New York to 0-2 tonight. I'll take a 4pt cushion against those two teams anyday.

Good work Buffalo. Philly is starting to dig a nice little hole for itself.

Buffalo looked really good out there. I have a feeling Faligno is going to make a lot of enemies.

This could be great, winning two on the road in the division to start the season.

Big game tonight, a W would be the perfect way to start the season up two games on the Rags and Flyers.

Am I the only one thinking taking Kunitz off Geno's wing is a mistake? I know we only have two legit top 6 wingers in Kunitz and Neal, but Geno's line played so well last season I don't agree with breaking it up just because "Sid needs a winger too".

Sid played just fine with Cooke and Dupuis last season, I say keep Geno's line together and find someone for Sid at the deadline.

Would love Foligno on that LW spot with Geno and Neal.

At times like this I like to settle back with a guiness and some light enjoyable reading. Like the Flyers board.

We need to stay with the theme all.

Edit: I really feel that both the Flyers and Rangers have lost a good bit of their Identity and what made them so good. Especially against the Pens.

I'd honestly rather swap Kunitz and Tangradi, then try to find Sid a RW through trade. I've always thought Tangradi played his best with Crosby, and not surprisingly he had his best shift with him again last night. This will probably never happen though.

Ugh, please no more Phil "CM Punk" Brooks. I get that being a smarmy d-bag (even outside of wrestling, he's still a massively smarmy d-bag) is part of his appeal to people, but just, ugh.

Back on topic, would be nice to put NYR in an 0-2 hole.

They also have a thread about getting back, Jagr. Rumor out that if Dallas is out late that Jagr would be traded back to the Flyers.

From thread; their source

Lets hope their out and this doesn't even come to reality.

Ya I wish this would happen. Crosby gets the puck on Tangradi's stick every shift, Malkin doesn't. Tangradi is the kind of player who gets much better the more he has the puck and his confidence grows.

The thing is, Malkin pretty much ignores him and anyone else on his line he doesn't trust.

This also reunites the Pens best line from last season as well.

But I get why DB has Kunitz with Crosby, but why not switch Tangradi and Dupuis?

I fear that Dupuis anywhere other than Sid's line will result in one thing.

I think you have CM Punk all wrong, I don't see how's he's a D bag outside the ring. He talks to fans, he's a D bag to those who are D bags to him, but back in like 2007 or 2008 there was a news story when WWE was in Pittsburgh he went to visit Children's Hospital, specifically a child who was a big CM Punk fan.

His D bag thing on TV is obviously acting, he's an excellent wrestler in the ring and on the microphone. He truly is what he says he is.

BEST IN THE WORLD!

Missed the part where Dupuis scored at a steady pace with or without Sid?

Dupuis truly is what he is. He brings his game no matter where or who he plays with.

I agree with you that Tangradi's game will likely mesh better with Sid's than Geno's. But while that can be tried out, lets not cut a leg off to deal with a blister.
There is not one single forward over the past 5 years who has been a more solid dose of kryptonite to Geno than Dupuis.

It is downright scary how bad that fit is. Anything else.
