Too much now.
Benn would grow into a contract. If Benn becomes a consistent 80+ point player, he'd absolutely be worth 7 million. People were complaining about the contracts Stamkos, Kessel, and Lucic got but they're worth it now.

yeah Lupul and Zajac are more high end second line players or low end 1st line players while Benn is young and already a proven 1st line player you can literally build a team around... i say if he WANTED he could get 7 x 7 but since he's an RFA not a UFA it should be closer to 6 x 6.
