New garden is great, but I can't emphasize enough how much the bridges will ruin it.

I'm over here in 226 and think the same. I'm blown away at how nice everything is. It's like a new arena. The lighting is the biggest change on the ice. It's dramatically different than what we were used to.

Love the hallways. Hate the seats. Went from the last row of 418 to 2nd to last row in 222. Awful. I'm at least 15 rows farther from the ice. Seats more narrow with less leg room. No upper level bathroom, have to go down 20+ rows to the concourse. Don't like it at all.

Anyone else hitting huge traffic jams upstairs to get to a bathroom? I couldn't even make it back in time for the start if the period.

I'm at the game now, is it just me or is it WAY brighter now... Not just the ice but the crowd too. I like it.

What's the new lighting arrangement for ice events? Before phase 2 they used lights at the edge of where the ceiling met the walls to illuminate the ice lengthwise. They shined down at approx 45deg. It looks like they're gone.

The playing surface was def brighter. I liked it a lot.

Also: The change in my seats being higher and closer to the ice really did improve sightlines a great deal. Plus, no concourse, no people walking front. (went from 305, row B to 227 Row 3)

only downside is less aisle seats. I used to have aisle seats. Kind of a pain but the view of the oice more than makes up for it

Another little bonus is that you can watch the TV's in Row 1 very easily. I saw most of the Ravens/Pats game. Its pretty cool. And, row 1 people no longer have a shelf in front of them to lean on, so they don't sit forward in their seats blocking your view.

Definitely brighter and liked it....400s blue seats are sweet now with added concessions and bathrooms up there, cant complain. I just wish the seats werent so low, im in row 2 and i have to sit on edge of my seat to see behind the net....definitely feel like the seats are down lower, even the guys in the 1st row have to lean.

As for the 200s and bridges, I walked over pregame and stood in middle of arena and tried figuring out where bridges will effect people, i think everything row 14 and fact will somehow have bridges in play....especially at top...should be interesting. Glad im not there

Really liked my Row 2 gallery seats. BUT, the concourses are narrow and crowded...people can barely move.

Yeaaa I was in 227 row 18 (last row, you know the one with the gigantic beam right in my eye) and saw the pats ravens game on down there. Was wondering if you guys changed the channel from the rangers game feed (if thats possible), or did they just have it on the tv's?

Either way, I think its cool that they put those TV's down there.

I like my seats, section 221 row 17, and loved that it was nice and bright now. The hallways seemed crowded, kind of miss being able to walk around inside the upper bowl, but I'll get over that. Didn't use the restrooms during intermissions, but that seemed like the big problem for everyone around me when they returned to their seats.

New upper bowl is horrendous. My legs are hitting the seat in front of me (I am 6'2"), seats are lower to the ground, and the 8th floor concourse is worse than the Coliseum during intermission.

Was at Gallery 210 row 1 last nite. Awesome view. Really the best view in the house. No wonder the TV cameras are now there. Row 1 lines up with the 2nd row of the suites below. Love the view.

have to agree with pat, i think the new upper bowl sucks. concourse was extremely crowded in between periods, and there is absolutely no leg room. getting down to the concourse in between periods is very tough to do too. there isn't a lot of room on the staircase for people to go up and down. hopefully they get some kinks worked out to make things a bit better upstairs, but i was not happy at all last night

The leg and arm room in the upper bowl is terrible and I am a small person. I felt squished in the seats. What happens if you sit next to someone who is big, I don't like it at all. The concourse is more crowded then it was last year plus getting down is a pain, there is no room especially between periods if you are coming up and the crowd is going down or vice versa, not a fan of this at all. Positive note the lighting was much improved and made for a better feel to the game itself.

Not a big fan of the new concourse. Too much traffic and it's lost it's character. No issues with the seats though, and the bathroom lines move a lot faster.

I'm in 223. We had a lot of fun last night, pretty good section.

I'll agree the new concourse is a pain in the ass. Most traffic jams than I can remember seeing. I don't get how the bathroom line moves faster when they actually seem smaller.

Last season, the lower concourse was a traffic jam for opening night. It was miserable. Never had a problem since. I am hoping the upper bowl is the same way. 18000 people all came to check it out in between periods. After a few games, it will hopefully be ok.

Leg room seemed very tight in rows 3-14. But broadwayblue and I were chilling in Row 2 with extra leg room and a perfect view of both the Ice and the Ravens game on the TV's right in front of us. I must say, overall, I'm THRILLED with the reno and seats. No more cotton candy guy walking in front of me. No more of my 5'1 Fiancee complaining she can't see anything. No more Garden Vision sticking a camera in my face and telling me when to look happy... THRILLED!!!!
