There is an example another personal attack, by a youngster who has had his way since he came out of the womb, in his world if you do not agree with him your a malcontent. I don't know why my grandfather fought all over France, Belguim, and Holland for the right of being free and the right of free speech. But on the same hand, does one game with Ottawa (playing bad this year, one with the Wings (10 players out), one with Dallas (who is doing terrible this year), and two ties with the Devils make a season? Like I said, this team NEEDS to make an improvment or two.
Nope, the 5 games you mention don't make a season but they've got 13 other wins beside the 3 you mention; I'm sure you've got some brilliant explaination for those as well. Sure an improvement on the D would be nice, but they aren't as bad back there as you and Red like to think.
And by the way, Detriot didn't have 10 players out when they played the Leafs, they lost 5 the night after they played the Leafs. And Ottawa isn't playing well at all, real push over aren't they.

I'm too old to be a cheerleader Cap and my legs were never that great to begin with, can you not like something but be angry with it if you figure it did you wrong. As for trolls I've gone around to sites of teams and Leaf fans who are on TML can be found with posts degrading the Teams on that site, I've even seen your name on some like the Philly site, have you ever seen me on another site, sometimes on the Ottawa site after the Leafs beat them there are more Leaf fans than Sens fans so don't give me that bull about Troll BS Leaf fans are the worst of all other fans. I can't believe your so close minded, I guess your just bitter about the loss of the Ont. election hopefully when they rehire some of the inspectors we can drink our water and eat our meat without the thought of perishing. I know his posts are annoying but let's not get carried away. Yes Red is a bitter Leaf fan who only sees the bad most of the time. But he also likes to go out of his way to be negative just to get us thinking. Basically Red is the devils advocate, and I guess you always need one guy like him around. Don't let the BS bug you, just let him do his thing.
I'll give him the benefit with this one: Experiencing 36 yrs of frustration is much different than maybe 10-15 or so years, and only hearing about the rest, like us younger guys.

Don't even start with that. We're not talking about living under an oppressive political regime that doesn't take well to criticism. We're talking about a sports franchise. If you don't like the way they're handled, then why are you following them. The Leafs are a form of entertainment. You obviously aren't entertained by them, yet you still follow what they do? You don't support them, so then you're obviously not a fan. What you do seem to enjoy, however, is the idea of bringing down others around you. Get a life.

Fair enough, I'll give you that. I'm just trying to give some perspective. I'm sure he does believe most of his Leaf bashing but I think it's also embelished. He certainly loves to read the reactions for whatever reason. I just think it's a shame that there is some good hockey knowledge there and it's being clouded by all the BS. I'd like to see Red give good insight on both the bad and GOOD.

Where did I write those words? All I'm saying is that experiencing so many frustrating seasons can give some fans quite a bitter taste. That's why he is much more negative than most of us, who are also younger. But yes, he takes it way too far!

Old? Perhaps. Slow? Not really. The reason they lost to the Blues was because they didn't give an all-out effort until late in the third. If you don't do all the little things right, you don't deserve to win.
