Is it agreed we are actively rooting against the Ravens for non-game reasons?

What I mean is, EVERYONE and their grandma will get sick of the Harbowl crap, especially us Niner fans. Additionally, all the talk would be about Ray Lewis. RL this, RL that. Even if the Niners actually win #6, they would still be talking about Ray Lewis. Not to mention the whole country except Niner faithul would be rooting against us.

Do we as Niner fans who already have to suffer through 2 weeks of SB hype really want that? Forgetting who the Niners match up against and just talking about hype/media/coverage/who the country will root for, don't we want the Pats to pull this out?

I don't want to face Brady. You care way too much about what the media does or says.

I'm talking about non-game reasons, as I said in my post.

Since you mention game reasons, that Pats defense is awful. But it looks like the Pats D is gonna cost them a trip to the SB anyways, but as to non-game reasons, just saying, not looking forward to 2 weeks of Harbowl crap, Ray Lewis, and the entire country rooting against the Niners.

I want the Niners to deny a murderer or accessory to murder from going out on top.

Oh man I'm so happy the Ravens are taking it to the Pats. I hope they keep running up the score and win by at least 50.

All that's annoying but nowhere as worrying to me as the risk of losing to Brady and getting him a 4th ring and possible MVP - the comparisons to Montana will make me lose sleep - NO TOM, I DENY YOU!

Even if it makes the broadcast unwatchable because every other word will be "Ray Lewis", even if Niners win the SB? Like the whole game will be "Harbaugh, Harbaugh, Lewis, Lewis, Lewis, oh Niners win #6, back to Lewis, Lewis, Harbaugh, and end with Lewis." That's my only point.

And if it's the Patriots, it'll be: "Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Gisele, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady"

Pats aren't making the comeback against the Ravens, but even if they did, I just don't think with that awful D they can stop the Niners. The Packers D is much better than the Pats and the Niners put up a 45 spot on them.

Point taken, but at least everyone watching the Superbowl other than the fans of the teams would pull for us. If this score holds, the whole planet except Niner fans will be against us hard.

Guess it's about time to brace for that.

Belichick is a defensive coach so why does his teams consistently have ****** defenses that can't stop teams when it matters?

REALLY upset by this story (Niner fan stabs Falcon fan who punches him after game):
http://www.examiner.com/article/fan-...-loss-to-49ers

I realize the Falcons fan threw the first punch, but you don't respond by busting out a knife and slit a dude's throat. Be the better man and just walk away (Niners won, what else do you need??). We already have too many incidents of fan violence that somehow involve us SF sports fans.

Your right in that the matchup may be a bit better, but I'm so scared of Brady winning - "Brady, one of the best ever defeats the team he grew up idolizing and finally matches the accolades of his hero Joe Montana. Well Bob, could you argue that Brady is better than Montana? There is a case to be made . . . . blah blah blah blah" BURN IN HELL. I want to win of course, but I think I'd have less of an issue losing to the murdering linebacker than a upstart Dbag trying to match the man I grew up watching.

Still hasn't sunk in. Unreal feeling.

Looks like about 10 pro bowl spots just opened up in the NFC!

Guess we could try and ban knives, or put some larger restrictions on them.

Wish we could ban idiots from the games, especially playoff games.
