So anybody else realize that yesterday was the day for ex-Avs players, Winnik 2 goals, Stewart 2 goals, Shattenkirk 2 assists, Vrbata 2 goals, Mueller assist, Flash assist, Wolski goal and assist.

My god ex-Avs cleaned up yesterday.

I hope Cody Hodgson has a great year. Really want the Canucks to regret that trade.

Agreed and Ennis looked really good as well. Such a crafty player with the puck.

Always has been. I picked him to have a breakout year, now that he's going to play with Stafford( who stuck up for him today) and Markus. From now on He will be known as Tyler Ennista.

Our old friend Alex Tanguay is centering the Flames top line.

I believe he was drafted as a center but we already had Sakic/Forsberg and Hartley didn't trust Tanguay at all at center so he moved him to LW. Now Tanguay and Hartley are reunited and he's playing center.

Actually, it was Tanguay who didn't like playing center. Hartley tried him there to start the year in an attempt to get more balance (along with the VERY short-lived experiment of Steve Brule in the top six) and Tangs wasn't all that effective. I doubt he wants to play center on the top line either, but he's probably the best option for the Flames at this point. I remember they tried Cammalleri at the top line center spot last year as well.

My king gets chased. Pens looking great, too bad the season is over for the rags they were looking at a shot for the cup. Guess it's Jones or Mackinnon for them.

The Rangers will figure things out. I'd be worried if I were Philly though. Their defense doesn't even look good on paper.

I got my shooting percentage Excel sheet ready. Apparently 100% is the most you can have. I googled.

Come on Dubnyk, you're suppose to be better than Varlamov.

Smid is a UFA this summer. I didn't think he was that old. He might get well paid if he has a good year.

I think that was a clean hit considering Kreider was reaching and was bending over a bit. Though I don't think Orpik should be doing that with 20 seconds in the game, IMO.

Nilstrop is lookin good for Dallas and love Edler selfish goal from a Yakupov turnover.

I've watched both Stars games and Daly has been absolutely amazing. He's jumping into play, improved on his skating astronomically, physical play, and his decision making offensively has also improved.

I only saw the 1st period from that game but I liked what I saw. The goal he let in wasn't his fault, it was a rocket from Parise.

Minny is a good team and they don't really trap anymore, but damn they are still hella boring to watch.

Kassian has played well, apart from that insane pass to Schultz in the defensive zone.
