I think I am going to be switching back and forth from our game and the EDM game.

Agreed on Yakupov. I'm excited to finally watch a full game rather than a montage of highlights.

Crazy the amount of young talent on that EDM squad. Gotta a laundry list of guys to watch tonight, but yeah, the new guys like Yakupov and Schultz will be interesting viewing.

Also a good game going on in Minnesota if anyone needed another game to switch to.
Jagr as a Star is a gnarly sight.

Chicago PPG was sick. Kane weaved through 3 Coyotes, tosses it over to Bolland and he scores. 1-1

Biz Nasty vs. Bollig

Give it to Bissonnette, but not many quality shots landed.

The PP may be sick, but they have Emery to even it out. Having him in me net is like swimming in a counter-current pool. Frigging gift that keeps on giving.

Edmonton beats Vancouver in the shootout. Luongo back to the bench for game 3?

The Coyotes doesn't look as sharp defensively as they did last season.

Gotta be especially happy with the overall solid efforts from both our goaltenders these last 2 games after watching the disasters all over the league. From the studs on down, goaltending has been pretty ugly out of the gate.

If you look at a lot of the guys who are looking good early, most were playing in Europe during the lockout. Guys like Vanek, Geno, Kane, Jagr, etc. just seem to have a bit more jump, a bit more in midseason form.

I think that's one area Sid's going to take a bit of time catching up. The conditioning might be there, but the timing isn't.

Chicago carves through two of the top defensive teams from last year on the road, good start for them too.

And seriously, Luongo, get traded already. My fantasy team can't take Schneider riding pine.

Geno and Jagr were also destroying their respective leagues. I gotta admit, it felt good to root for Jags when he was with Kladno here. I still don't want to see his number retired here though.
