I was definitely disenchanted after the 1st period but the Oilers really got stronger as the game wore on. When's the last time we beat the Canucks when we were down after two periods? When's the last time we outhit, outshot and won more face-offs against them?

Congratulations guys!! I think your suffering is over!!! Thanks for beating the hated Canucks! Hemmer looks like he has his mojo back. Good luck this year.

That was a filthy winner for Hemsky, loved the way he was shaking the shoulders along with his moves.

krueger outcoached the nucks. he has a plan for the shootouts, has a coach with responsibilities, has guy who can shoot or deke

vigneault went with a dman who scored, burrows, and kassian. Guys who mucked it out tonight but no skill in the shootout. he gave away a point

After the first goal, Dubnyk was solid in Net. Schultz and Yakupov had good first games. Eberle was unreal. Hall and RNH... not their best game. Our top 4 D looked great, especially Petry. Our bottom pairing has no future here after this season.

How stupid is Kassian for fighting Eager and taking himself off the Sedins line for the last 5 minutes of the game or how smart was Eager to do it?

Really impressed with Dubnyk tonight, he made some nice saves (as did Luongo) and the PK was lights out. Nice comeback win.

The best thing about this win is that it wasn't a fluke. The first period was pretty sloppy but, for the first time in many seasons, the Oilers weren't just along for the ride against Vancouver. Very encouraging and hopefully something we'll see for many years.

I was extremely happy with the Oilers' top-4 defensemen tonight. Smid and Petry looked very solid, with Petry really being physical. The Schultzes were very good, both with so much poise, I REALLY like this pair.

It was far from perfect, but the Oilers came back from 2-0 down and picked up 2 pts in Vancouver, not a small accomplishment, imo.

Well done, CAN'T wait for Tuesday.

Dirty shootout move by Hemmer!

Eberle's backhand was disgusting.

RNH was MIA tonight. He was horrible but it's early and there is gonna be some rust to work off for the entire team.
