The University of New Brunswick has campuses in both Saint John and Fredericton, but only Fredericton has a hockey team so yes, it will be the same UNB team.

Denis Yan born in Alaska and has gone back and forth to Russia, he will not get OHL status. The jury still out on Korostolev but it is still considered highly unlikely he will get OHL approval because of residency issues. Didn't help that he went back to Russia to recoup from injury.

UNB beats Red Stars 5-2. Shots were 33-24 for UNB.

Moscow selects team after easily handling the Toronto Marlboros 5-1 in the quarterfinals lost to the Ottawa Valley Titans 2-1 in the semis. No idea how that happened. Ottawa is supposed to be much inferior to even the Marlies yet somehow beat a Moscow team which easily disposed of the Marlies.

I was at the game last night, I don't really know why the MHL team comes here - they clearly didn't care, whether it's the absence of coaches or whatever I dunno. It was an even game, but they kept missing the net and Brown capitalized on most of the chances...

Come on, no need to undermine Brown's 7 - 1 win I know you were at the game and I wasn't, but whenever a Russian team gets beat there's all kinds of excuses flying, and there's just no conceding that they were the worse team.

That's awesome to hear, but that doesn't mean people need to be homers about Russia, not giving credit where it's due. I'm a fan of all things Russian in hockey myself, but if they lose, my first thought is that they got bested by the other team, and not injuries, motivation or other stuff that conveniently only impacts the Russian team in question.

again, I was at the game and you weren't, lol; there were times when MHL stars would string 2 shifts not leaving Brown's zone, but all the shots were weak and off, lol. Brown had such instances too...I talked to some MHL players, they were asking what it's like living in the states, were very friendly, but didn't seem to be into the game itself.

What did you say? I hope you referred to the States as Mordor otherwise you are supporting Russian prospects moving to North America at a young age

95 born F, Viktor Shakhvorostov, is back in Bars Kazan. He played for Bars in 11/12, drafted by Ak Bars, started this season in USHL.
It is not clear what is lenght of his contract, IMO it is until 30.4.2015

And now Q... why the hell did he move to America if he is back after a few months? Bad decision/move?

MHL A stats so far, 12-13 season

66 players born 1996,
9 of them are G (mostly back-ups)
23 of them have played 10 games or less (some will play more games, season is not over)
One players from Belarus, rest are Russians
F Vovchenko, Nekolenko, Pilipenko have most goals (10)
F Klyauzov of Vityaz has most pts (23), btw why not play at U17 Challenge?

from Under 17 World Challenge 2013 roster:
- only D Nasybullin playing MHL B all the time
- D Lyamkin a few games in MHL A
- D Dervuk a few games in MHL A
- D Mikulovich plays kids hockey?
- F Fazleev a few games in MHL A
