Thanks for the responses guys, I didn't know Carlyle wanted to have a rotation like that, good to know for now on.

I know, unfortunately homeless people sleep there all the time. That was kind of my point.

Glad you had fun though, it's freezing out.

Komi got 6 hits?

That's got to be his best game as a Leaf.

BTW guys, I heard on 680 News earlier in the morning that Chris Hadfield will be joining in the festivities from space for the Leafs opener.

How great is that!?

My guess is that Kostka sticks (Carlyle loves him) and Holzer and Fraser...are potential New York Islanders..
So Holzer needs to clear waivers too? Damn I don't want to lose any of them.

That's really sweet!

If they can get a video they should put him on the jumbotron.

Or sing the national anthem

Mike Kostka is a great story, I really hope this guy steps up and sticks. True underdog story.

I'm fairly confident that Holzer/Fraser have to clear waivers if they aren't here by the time Gardiner is ready.

Sucks but I think Holzer will be picked up for sure..dirty Islanders haha.

Well when it comes to it, Fraser should be the one put on waivers to make room.

He fits with our currents team build.

Phil Kessel - Boston wanted rid of him.

Joffery Lupul - Anaheim wanted him gone.

Clarke MacArthur - Buffalo would not pay him.

Mikhail Grabovski - Montreal had given up.

Dion Phaneuf - Rumors of Calgary having problems with him.

We are really just a rag tag team of players who people gave up on. Maybe we should stop drafting and just trade for peoples "Busts." Which makes me think we should of traded for Turris or try and get Colin Wilson.

If they've been playing all year then it may be good to get them in there. Buffalo just did a number on Philly and the Leafs need to be on their best game here!!

Okay with Holzer getting a shot but we could really use Franson in this game tonight...

do people actually think franson was good on saturday? did u miss liles bailing him out multiple times? at least fraser is more physical holzer and fraser deserve a shot before leafs make a decision about sending someone down, i feel fraser will be good against the new tougher sabres he wont take stuff from ott etc and has played in the nhl before

This should be a good game..

Carlyle did an excellent job last game instilling a sense of defense and I thought the Leafs really limited the Habs to outside low risk opportunities.

Hopefully more of the same today as Vanek and his teammates are coming off a big win against Philly.

Toronto always seems to struggle against the Sabres so tonight would be huge with a win.

I can understand Fraser in for Komi for fitness, but Cody played in Sweden and played well using his reach very well Sat. Why the hell doesn't this team hold him back and not play him every game?? Jesus.

Because Holzer deserves a shot too. It's one game FFS.
