Jakub Voracek for sniper

These two games has shown that we have a little goalscoring problems. Voracek isnt helping that cause he is more playmaker. So if we want to do some change to get more goals i think Voracek have enough value to trade some pure snipe or +25g powerforward. I was thinking something like Corey Perry,Bobby Ryan,Jarome Iginla,Max Pacioretty,Dustin Brown,Johan Franzen,Evander Kane,Loui Erikson,Jamie Benn, Chriss Stewart or Kyle Okposo.. and those are not in order..

How does Voracek have enough value to bring in a 30+ goal scorer?

I told everyone we should have tried to sign Semin to a 1 or 2 year deal.

No one listened.

Our best bet would be to hope Perry hits free agency and try for him

Yeah, no.

Michalek's 35 goal season was a fluke

Bishop isn't worth anything

Voracek looks very good to me. Why don't you just wait for Briere to come back rather than invite other team's fans to make absurd props like the one above?

It's been 2 freaking games...

He has already hit a couple of posts. I don't think he'll ever be a 35+ goal scorer, but he will flirt with 30 at some point, might not be this year.

I don't see much incentive in the NYI flipping 24 yr old Okposo, for 23 yr old Jakub Voracek.

Even less reason for the Winnipeg Jets to trade 22 yr old Kane, who's already a 30 goal scorer, for Voracek.

I really didnt mean all the names like straight one to one trade. I mean that if we want to get goals to philly, with Voracek our main asset on the trade but maybe not alone, what we could have?

Wow Krishna, I'm disappointed. I usually love your posts.

Ill be the first to admit that that trade is certainly lopsided, but come on you can't really think Michaleks season was a total fluke and Bishop is worth nothing.

Well, I imagine you can get a guy who's capable of 30 goals if you combine him with Sean Couturier.

Don't think you'll have the cap-space to sign him, with Giroux due for a *major* salary bump at the end of 2013-14....unless of course, you trade for him and shed salary that way and/or use compliance buyouts to clear space.

8m of space for next year and that bumps up to about 13m with Pronger on LTIR and another 6.5m tied up in Briere. I sort of expect briere to be traded/bought out

The Wild won't trade Harding but that notion would absolutely get the Flyers attention.

Bryzgalov amnestied

Timonen off the books

Meszaros traded

Fedotenko, Shelley replaced cheaply.

They have a ton of money to play with. Timonen alone probably has Giroux's future cap hit or close to it.

I don't think the flyers would be interested in Harding due to his health issues with MS

I seriously doubt it happens like that. Bryz probably won't be amnestied this time unless he puts up a terrible season. But, he could get amnestied in the following season..

Meszaros should stay with the team.

Pronger on LTIR

4th liners could be re-signed flyers RFAs or players from the pool
