Nash scores his first goal as a Blueshirt, shorthanded after a takeaway by Stepan.

Jets Bruins is fun to watch so far. Jets with the early lead. Bs hit the goalpost already. Hockey is back and guess what, it's great.

Vancouver looks to be in some serious trouble. They won't be getting Kesler or Booth back for a while, and the team's looked terrible so far.

IMO, the Bruins should wear their alternate socks with their home jersey. I get the 'iconic' look to their current home jerseys but I just don't like the yellow socks with a black jersey.

I think that combo rocks. Without those they're just all black, unless they wanna go yellow pants, lol.

For sure, I just think that the yellow is already enough to make their uniforms pop (did i just say 'make their uniforms pop' ). The yellow socks have never really impressed me.

Anyway, does anyone know when the free center ice preview ends? I'm really diggin' being able to watch every game but I don't really wanna drop 50 bucks to have it for 3 months.

I really think that Schneider will be on his way out soon to get that forward they want. Go with Luongo and hope Lack will be the new Schneider. He did take them to the SC finals.
Schneider has more trade value. Leafs would offer the world for him. Just not for Luongo and his contract.

Kind of sucks they do day games today... I mean, unless you work for a bank or the government, does anyone actually get today off?

As someone that works heavily with the banks, the fact that I do need to work today is a big pain....

I think trading him would be the best option for them at the moment. Sedins aren't exactly young... if they're going to win, they need to do it now. Personally I think their window has already passed, but I'm not sure how popular that opinion is.
Count me in as one who has yet to buy into Schneider. He's still unproven as a goaltender in long stretches.

I think he'll be a reasonably good NHL-quality starter, but nothing so special as 'Nucks fans were claiming all through the offseason. Don't think he'll ever be as good as Luongo is and has been. I don't like Lu but he doesn't get enough credit for how good a goalie he actually is.

I'd take Schneider but there is about 0% chance that we get him. Especially for what we would be willing to give to get him. Stalberg would be the best piece that goes to the Nucks. Not really good for them and what they need.

Yeah, unfortunately it'd need to be a big overpayment for Vancouver to send him here. Take away TT and Saad (largely untouchable, in my eyes) and there really isn't much the Hawks can sweeten the deal with.

I think the Leafs would really pay to get him. Think Kulemin + Kadri for Schneider. That would be a good start.

Me too. If Kulemin hadn't had such a terrible season last year, those two would probably be enough to get Vancouver to trade him, too.

Kadri's had a good start to the season.

will be fun to see the Nucks miss the POs this year. They have big troubles. Goalie situation and the mentioned injuries. At least, they got Edler to sign a new contract

They play in a division with Calgary and Colorado. Not seeing them miss the playoffs.

Colorado's not a bad team, although if I'm not mistaken they don't beat Vancouver very often at all.

Islanders with a great kill, and they get rewarded by springing Martin out of the box for a breakaway goal.

I feel bad for Lindback, that D in front of him blows.

Oilers, Wild and the Avs are teams that can end up before the Nucks.

Also... is it wrong that I don't get the Schneider love? He has way too small of a sample size. We're effectively talking about less than a full regular season of experience and a solid, though extremely short, playoff run.
