he was ok, had a couple chances. In OT he was paired with Joey Tenute, but in the SO he shot over the net. His assist was him taking a slap shot and Lefebvre put home the rebound.
It's funny but I actually thought last nights game was a little more fun to watch. The Dogs got better as the game went on, Desjardins was very solid in net. Stejskal got more ice then usual, had a big hit late in the game, thought it was one of his better games as a Dog. Schultz continued to work hard even though he took a un-neccessary penalty at least he was being physical in doing so.
KHL would do a better job developing him. I rather see him turn into a good player there and risk him not wanting to return to NA than have him rot here and give Habs bad reputation for future Russian late round picks.
6-3 win for Rochester. Bulldogs battled back from a 3-0 deficit, but then gave up 3 straight. Mayer made a highlight reel save, but was awful for the rest of the game.
Jarred Tinordi was easily the best Bulldogs today. He was virtually unbeatable today. He timed his poke checks right, he used his body well, and he was surprisingly involved offensively. He made a number of good stretch passes and pinched a few times. Once he stickhandled through two players and cut around behind the net.His only miscue was an awful turnover in the third, which is very rare for him. He also took regular shifts with three different defenceman (Ellis, Commodore, DeSantis) and looked great with everyone.
All the other defenceman were terrible. Especially St Denis. Just an awful game from, every time he stepped on the ice he either turned it over or spent his entire shift in his own zone. Beaulieu had a beautiful rush late in the game, but got beaten a ton.
Leblanc picked up a goal and by the end of the game was playing on the top line with Dumont and Bournival. Pretty good game from him, created a few chances offensively and was solid defensively.
Patrick Holland was probably the Bulldogs best forward. He was strong on the puck and had many scoring opportunities. He had a spectacular play in which he dangled around four players and sent a pass in front of the net, but no one was there to grab it.
