several star goalies havent been so good their first few games. Quick and Howard were also quite terrible.

Quick had surgery recently so it's understandable.
wouldn't call Howard a star though

Howard just isn't a very good goalie. He got big time protection early on in his career from a great puck possession team.

He was winning over 35 games a year, which I figured to be top end...
However, I can't really argue your point now. I am hearing he was really good because of the D he had...which is no longer there.

The Flyers are at the contract limit. They wont pick up Stewart.
Im guessing he will be headed to Manchester this week.
oh wait the Isles have a contract opening.

Lecavalier became 280th player to hit 1,000 games today. Has to be one of fastest to get there, too.

id rather not. I have drilled my opinon on this numerous times on the subject. I am tired of giving awaty top draft picks for rentals.
The well 2nd round picks and below usually dont amount to anything "excuse" doesnt fly with me either.
Some people are fine with finding these junior and college players to replace lost draft picks. I am not. a couple have worked out. Most of these guys werent drafted for a reason.

Oh, trust me. I also hate the trading of top picks for players who play for a few games and then bolt..
It was a joke

Couturier was a prominent part of the team last year. The team didn't win the Cup. Therefore, he must be traded away.

I didn't want to make a new thread for this question. Is there a max amount of salary or cap hit for a player? And if so what is it? I'm not caught up on the CBA like a lot of you are.
