I thought Burmi was playing good, why was his icetime limited in the third? As I said before, when Noel changes up lines Burmi, Welly and Scheif get the short end of the stick, but he'll never bench a guy like Ladd, who sucked today and had that horrid giveaway on the first goal and looks of shape.

To be honest we were lucky to get a point out of this thing. Pavs got beat several times but was bailed out by the post. Hopefully offense would come soon. You can't expect to win in this league scoring 1 goal a game. Postma played much better defensively today. I like him on the PP, he likes to shoot the puck (he just needs to stop hitting that damn post ). And speaking of shooting the puck, can someone please beg Enstrom to shoot the puck every one in a while. Enstrom played awesome today but him not shooting the puck is killing us

Either way, I am pulling for you guys in the South.

You guys have some class players in Stuey and Kaner has an awesome toolkit. I think you guys may have a few years until you're "there", but you guys are definitely going in the right direction.

Bad call when looking at it on replay. Can see why the refs called it though.

Obvious bad call in the same sense that the Kane penalty was bad as well. They also missed a high stick from Ladd on Chara right after the one Boychuk got. Overall we got the break late in the game when it came to penalties. But the post gave it back to you in the end which almost seems only fitting. lol

I like kane but yah, unless it can somehow be drilled into him that the rest of the guys should only pass to him if he's in a shooting spot then he's useless.

Overall a much better game, but frustrating as it was so winnable.

Schief looked good again, would like to see him get some more minutes. Thought he looked really good when he was with burmi and someone (maybe poni?)

Wheeler finally turned it on in the third. Him and kane OT looked frighteningly fast together, i'd love to see that pair get some more time.

I see a lot of the same issues as early last year, but I see us fixing them a lot quicker... this is good.

Perhaps, but it's a serious achille's heel for us. Maybe not the be-all-end-all, but I am concerned we will never win a shootout as long as he is in net.

Wheeler fell mid-stride so many times while in Boston....

I hated him for it. That and his offsides...

Either way, tough time for that call to be made. Good luck to your team and your fans for the remainder of the season! I hope you take the SE division.

A ******* way to lose the game, but did a hell of a lot better than I thought they would after Saturday's game. Lots of excitement to be had, and far too many lucky breaks for the Jets. Ok, now to my theory. Today's game was MLK day. They were playing Boston. Boston famously got ousted in the first round last year by an OT goal from Joel Ward - a black man. A number of Bruins fans turned out to be racist at that point. Today, they couldn't bury their number of quality chances and goal posts.

Coincidence? >_>

Seriously. We have the personnel. You need to work the puck down low in order to open up that point shot. The guys are telegraphing their intent right now. Anyone who doesn't know they want Buff to one time it have never seen this team.

Try to exploit their box below the hash marks... that should spread them out.

That sounded so dirty.

They've a total of two goals scored in two games. They have a rookie offensive forward that is capable of creating some points; just a thought, maybe give Scheif a bit more icetime.

I liked how Sheifele played. He looks to me that he deserves to be here. I hope that Noel is gaining trust in him. In the O zone he cycles really well and handles the puck better than most. I didn't see any glaring mistakes and saw some important PP time.

PP sure needs work.

Maybe on the PP we need to be like soccer and start counting shots on net as a huge success.

I saw the potential for a good team, one that started to find their legs and (re)develop chemistry.

But the defense looked bad today. Really bad. Bogosian can't return soon enough. I'd switch Clitsome for Redmond next game.

Highlight of the game:

Burmi knocking Chara on his ass lol

I'm happy with how we did today. I'd like to see some presence from our offense lines. But our guys got a point from one of the toughest teams in the NHL, a team that just spanked the Rags the other day.

I would have liked I see the win, but I was certain it was going to be a landslide victory for the B's.

I think we're on the right track.

Ya I personally don't get not playing Redmond. Don't they want to see what he can do? He is an AHL all star, That has to say something.

Would have been nice to pull out the victory, but an important point on the road against a premier team-- Thanks to our Defense!!! (and Goaltending)

One goal by a 4th line forward and we still took the Bruins to a shootout.
- Postma assisted on the lone goal in his 11 min on ice
- Hainsey played over 25 minutes (2 SOG)
- Stuart played almost 20 minutes (even strength and short handed only) with 2 SOG, 3 Hits and 3 Blocked Shots.
- Engstrom and Buyfuglien (3 blocked shots) played 30 minutes (-1)

Sure would be nice to score some goals......
And score on the Power Play.....

Sucks to only get the loser point in that one, especially with our propensity to lose in back-to-backs. Ah well, that's the way she goes sometimes. Overall, a much better effort than vs. Ottawa, especially the 3rd period I thought the Jets stepped their game up.

Point gained, in my opinion. Outplayed for most of the game, our new signing "The Post" came up huge for us. Honestly I had very little optimism going into this game, so it can only be a confidence builder. Some players looked loads better than on Saturday, some are still struggling a bit. For all the problems we've had with the "bottom 6" in the past season, I thought they were better than the top 6 today.

Someone should cue up the Psycho music whenever Clitsome and Postma take the ice together. Good grief.
