I would love for them to try Chiasson at center down in Austin for the rest of this season. Big bodied passer who's a good faceoff guy and defensively responsible at wing, I've got to think he could make the move and that means not having to rely on re-signing Roy or pushing Eakin into a role he may or may not be able to fill.

I missed most of the third on the damn phone with DOT at work. I really hate the DOT ... so very very much.

Why on earth would you want to tear apart Dallas' best line? Eakin, Garbutt, and Smith are clicking and play extremely well together.

It's not ideal, and as much as I want Wandell to succeed, the 2nd line doesn't look right. Rather than breaking up a successful line to fix it, you could just call up a guy for a handful of game until Benn signs.

This is the 20th goal in 3 games right? Only 1 ENG?

Yes, let's not tear apart the incredibly important Garbutt-Eakin-Smith line who have had a few nice cycles in order to bolster the team's 2nd line. Let's instead call up a prospect who finally appears to be getting comfortable in the AHL (and it's been all of what, one week?), give him an extra jolt by changing his position, put him with 2 players he's never played with and expect him to save the Stars' top-6.

Id like them to try to convert Chiasson in Texas, I dont think pulling him up and tossing him in at center would be beneficial. I guess Eakin may be the best bet there and while he might work better than Wandell I really dont think he is a scoring line center at the NHL level. He just doesnt seem skilled enough to overcome his lack of strength.

I want to try Chiasson at center down in Austin not bring him up cold to Dallas right now. The kid seems like he'd do well there and at that level there's no real harm. Consider it a 40 game audition to see if he can make at center next year in Dallas.

Nemeth now leading the team in +/-, good, not bad for a young european rookie used to big sized rinks.

I know Oleksiak is the new fan boy and favorit but Nemeth is looking pretty good as well right? Two young very promising d-men though, I can agree upon that.

Hopefully Nemeth looks better now than 2012, adjustment phase going well?

These are different kind of d-men with Nemeth being more of a shutdown type of d-man, defensive minded (at least in Sweden).

I just hope they are not preassuring Nemeth to much in stepping up his offensive play because changing a player is not that easy.

Does look pretty well adjusted and solid.

I don't think they are at all. Oleksiak is the one with that pressure, if anyone back there has it. Everyone knows he's a shut-down defender, and I don't think anyone excepts much more out of him.

He's definitely earned his spot on the top pairing with Oleksiak.
