I would rather have the dollar then to take a chance on the flames winning a faceoff especially if we need the win.

Money dictates alot, and can see Feaster shelling out HUGE money to do it.

Yes but as I said the Leafs will offer at least as much, I could see Florida offer up big money and make them contenders, he loves the Ducks and will most likely resign with them, the Devils and Senators could both be in play as well. I just don't see us being as attractive as some of these teams that will be contenders for years with him.

It depends on where he wants to go also. If he likes Calgary he might just pick this team if the money on the table is the same. Kinda like we did with Bouwmeester

It's true he could choose here but unlike when Jbo signed we aren't a team that looks like it is about to make a run. I think it is highly unlikely he leaves the Ducks (less likely than Iggy leaving here) and if he does leave it will be for a contender, unless Feaster some how convinces him that we are a Getzlaf away from the cup and I don't see how that happens.

Out of spite for IHJF, the hockey gods allow Backlund to score exactly 2 goals per game for the remainder of his career.

I'm expecting Janko to get about 4 goals and a 1 assist a game. But even then...

Jankowski is the next Danny Briere. I can't wait until he takes Calgary to the Finals and scores 30 points.

If only we would have Bryzgalov, it would make the team perfect.

I'm not so quick to write Glencross off the first line. He had some real good chemistry with Iggy and Olli last year and he's probably been wrestling bulls to stay in shape. A lot of our vets need time to shake off the rust, I think Glencross is a good match with Iggy because he creates space for him. Both guys can score and Tangs can feed them the puck, give it a couple more games.

And I can't wait until Jankow plays here. My prediction is that he surpasses Gretzky's career point totals in his rookie season.

Hey, we get that you dont like him, but you have to stop underselling him.

He will easily pass old man Wayne's records by the time the 1st period is over, possibly during his first shift or the warm-up skate.
