Spaling doing work to kill the penalty. Rinne bailing out Hannan.

Good kill.

Gill is gonna drop 'em before the night is over. At this rate I say we dress Blum as a #7 and roll with 3 forward lines since our 4th line is completely useless.

Good trade-off for St. Louis with these 2 penalties.

Looked to me like Reaves went for a high hit, and that's what pissed Gill off. I could be wrong since it was behind the play.

I don't think Gill is especially strong 4-on-4 so there really isn't much of a trade off

He actually had my vote for captain if Shea went to Philly

Glad it didn't come to that though.

This team doesn't have much depth, other than after the trades last year the team has never had much depth, it's just something you have to deal with. 4th lines are energy lines, especially when you have little depth, which means you have to run a short bench, nothing wrong with that.

Gill is about 5-6 inches taller than Reaves, must have been pretty obvious but I missed it too haha.

No but Reaves is only slightly more skilled than McGrattan and wouldn't have played 4-on-4 anyway whereas Gill is a defender at least, so we're down to 5. That's all I'm saying

Yeah I'd have to watch it again. My brother hates when I rewind games, though. It wasn't anything terrible so whatever.

I just don't see it being a big deal. It's 2 minutes, and Gill isn't nearly mobile enough to be effective 4-on-4. If Gill were the only one going to the box I'd be more concerned since he is one of our strongest PKers.

I got it. I just got my laptop back from repairs. Some reason it wasn't working. Just re-downloaded it. These beers have some drawbacks.

Not the most traditional way to score on the PP but I'll take it.

Blues have insane depth this year. We're having trouble matching it.

If Gaustad is out for any considerable amount of time, we need a Latta or Mueller up here.

I'd even go as far as to say Watson should be given a shot on the 4th line but I don't think that would fly with Poile.

We have decent depth IMO, especially when you look around
the league at all the top heavy teams. Obviously our depth is not close to that of the Blues, especially with a missing Bourque and a struggling Smith.
