I had a good time today. Free lunch consisting of a hotdog, popcorn and a soda. not to shabby.

Lots of posts. Hopefully rust will fade and those will start going in. Tuukka made some big saves.

I was surprised by the options they gave us. I had to try the $10.50 turkey wrap, being as though it was the "best value". Not horrible. Pretty small and basic. Was probably worth about $5 at a sandwich shop.

Hopefully 7-10 games we will see more of the long lay off most players have, start dissapearing. But I have to say I thought it would be worst.

Pretty safe guess there. No way Rask sits Wednesday, and he'll need a quick break. We'll probably need him 3 more times for CAR/NJ/BUF, unless Dobby takes one of those.

I was very impressed with Hamilton today.

Bergeron, Boychuk, Marchand, Chara Tuukka all looked great today.

Seguin and Horton did all the right things just didn't have the timing down but down the line if they continue to play like that they will put plenty of points on the board.

Always feels great to come away with 2 points on one of these matinee games given the B's traditionally dont perform too well for whatever reason and it could've easily gone either way.

Yeah, they actually captured it on the TSN Jets broadcast. Talk about a perfect shot, landed right in the poor guy's beer. Hopefully someone bought him a new one.

Great game today, best of luck for the rest of the season.

Seguin looks a little to loose right now. His feet look good, he needs bear down a bit more. Kid could have 5 goals right now. 2 would be nice.

didn't realize it was an early game and was home all day and could have watched. Not happy about that. Glad to see we picked up the win though

Hamilton did look good, for a rookie, we are so lucky to have the luxury of Chara and such a defensively responsible team around him though, he did make some mistakes but they are much less noticeable when Chara is aware and looking out for him... he still has a long way to go but the future looks very bright

Johnson looked ok too

when I miss a game, I like to re-live it by reading the GDT from start to finish, gives you a feel for how the game went by the posters comments, and of course also watch the nhl.com video of the highlights too

When I can't find an active feed that's how I "watch" the game lol.

Just got done watching on the DVR...my company must be racist because we had to work.

I thought the Bruins looked pretty good but like Brick was saying, they just have some rust that is preventing them from finishing off some of these great chances. That's ok, hopefully they're saving the goals for Wednesday. Little worried about that one...can't really picture New York starting 0-3.

Chara still continues to amaze me. I like how hyper aware of Dougie he is, when Wheeler threw the hit that went into DH's legs Chara took a number and made sure he made him pay.

I think we are going to get a season from DH that has a few hiccups but in the end it will get him a calder nomination.

Mid-season, this is probably a 5-4 game. Both Rask and Pevelec made a number of great stops though. Credit to them.

Hope McQuaid can get up to speed soon. Understandably, he's probably been the weakest link on the backend (putting it nicely). Johnson had a steady 1st game. Maybe it wouldn`t be a bad idea to have McQuaid head to Providence for a conditioning stint.

If you follow the Bruins on Twitter, you can get automatic updates. There are several options, including a message 10 minutes before the game starts, when goals are scored, score when it's over, etc.

I wouldn't say they squeaked by...they hit a lot of posts. Overconfidence is weakness though so I'll just say they played a determined game.

Right, they're good options for anyone who's a bit forgetful.

Now I just need one to remind me to set my fantasy lineup.

Am I the only one who thinks McQuaid hasn't been that bad? They've only allowed two goals in two games, I don't think ANY of our defensemen have been bad.

my issue with Quaider is how much he's been stumbling around and awkwardly falling, he oughta sit out until he gets his strength and balance back - he's gonna end up really hurting himself.
