My biggest gripe about trading him was because of that snipe. We simply don't have enough shooters in this group. It's one of the reasons why I'm looking forward to seeing what Jensen can do next year.

Hopefully Schroeder and Kassian continue to work on it as well.

Checking is so tight today, you need guys who can snipe.

We don't have a lot of things on our roster.

Sniper
Playmaking winger
Powerforward
Dangler

Giving up Hodgson and Kassian was opening up a hole to close another one.

Traded his RFA rights to CBJ for Mark Methot in the summer, I believe.

Kings lose Matt Greene, probably for the whole season.

Tarasenko and Schwartz both get a point. Tarasenko now at 3 goals and 2 assists in 2 games played.

I suppose. I also suppose I am not really blown away by his drafting record. Perhaps time will prove me wrong.

Halak, Schneider, Lunqdvist, Howard, Quick, all pulled, and mike smith had a terrible game last night giving up 6.

Did not expect goal tending to be this rusty.

Can you blame them? He looked shaky just handling the puck against the Habs which without PK, is perhaps the worst team in the league.

I didn't see the first goal, but the second was Pominville in all alone, that guy won't miss too often on that kind of opportunity. Thought he has been ok, but I think he only is looking bad in comparison to Miller who is playing like a wall.

Jesus Tarasenko. So jealous of all these teams with terrific young talent right now. Blues are going to be a tough team to beat.

Looks like kipper might be the next goalie to get pulled, 3-0 ducks halfway through the first.

3 goals on 7 shots.

winnik scored again.

Nazem Kadri with his second goal.

If he scores another one within the next 2 games Leafs nation will probably erect a bronze Kadri statue and label him as the "next one".

From Luongo for Kadri+ to Kesler, Edler and 1st for Kadri.

Why can't the Laugh's play that good the whole game? Wow. Kadri looked like Pavel Bure out there.

I really like Columbus this year. Good, hard working team.

Or maybe I just really hate Rick Nash, IDK.
