I would argue yes they make that amount because they contribute offensively.
There are defenseman in the league almost as good at defending but cant bring those big shots.

Cammalleri is one of the better trades of the Gauthier era.

To be clear, my 3-0 was for the Ducks leading 3-0.

But yes, the division looks better than several people were forecasting with BUF and OTT coming out strong and the Leafs being able to defend.

I actually thought the division would be weak, and I listed that as a reason why the Habs could exceed my expectations of 11th-15th place.

LOL !

Even Calgary is better than us

2 goals, they're back in the game. Two points for Tanguay and Koivu.

Man, this happened to halak a lot last year. Such a hot and cold goalie. Either he gets a shutout or gets pulled.

watching these other games make me feel bad about the habs. I really hope they turn things around, and fast. Some of this teams look like they would demolish the habs, and that's putting it lightly to say the least.

Felt like this for a few years now. You watch other teams and see how bad the Habs are. We're in transition anyways. Brighter days are ahead.

Columbus might be better than everyone expected. As weak as the Nash trade seems they are on the right track.

What's with Gomez & the Sharks? Someone had a change of heart and a contract never happened or what?

Can't say Ive watched many, if any Columbus home games. Im surprised by their crowd though, did they have free entrance or something tonight? They're surprisingly loud. Louder than the Bell Centre was for the majority of that terrible game against Toronto.

Its crazy to me that they even have fans.. lol

Major props to Colton Orr. Good body shot. When you can't reach the face....you aim elsewhere.
